1. Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to electronic device enclosures, and more particularly to a server rack assembly.
2. Description of Related Art
Server system racks house electronic equipment such as network server systems, data storage devices, power supplies, and others. A server rack assembly generally includes two frames of the same configuration and four supports connected to the two frames. Each frame includes a first pole and a second pole. When the first pole is to be secured to the second pole and the support, a connecting component must synchronously connect to the first pole, the second pole and the support, an inconvenient requirement.
Many aspects of the embodiments can be better understood with references to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.
The disclosure is illustrated by way of example and not by way of limitation in the figures of the accompanying drawings in which like references indicate similar elements. It should be noted that references to “an” or “one” embodiment in this disclosure are not necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean at least one.

Each frame 100 includes two first poles 10 parallel to each other, and two second poles 20 parallel to each other. In one embodiment, each frame 100 is a rectangle, each first pole 10 is substantially perpendicular to each second pole 20, and each of the first and second poles 10, 20 is substantially perpendicular to the supports 50.

Each second pole 20 includes a second base 21, a first side plate 22 and a second side plates 23 connecting two opposite edges of the second base 21, a top plate 24, and a supporting plate 25 extending from one side of the first side plate 22 towards the second side plate 23. A though hole 211 is defined in the second base 21. An indentation 251 and two securing holes 253 are defined in two opposite ends of the supporting plate 25, and the two securing holes 253 are adjacent to the indentation 251. In one embodiment, the second pole 20 is longer than the first pole 10, the length of the second side plate 23 is the same as that of the top plate 24, but shorter than that of the first side plate 22 and the supporting plate 25; and the length of the first side plate 22 is the same as that of the supporting plate 25. A space 255 is defined between the first side plate 22 and the supporting plate 25, for receiving an end of the supporting panel 15.
A securing component 60 is secured to each first pole 10 and each second pole 20, and includes a bottom portion 61, a first securing portion 63 and a second securing portion 65 connected to the first securing portion 63. In one embodiment, the first securing portion 63 is substantially perpendicular to the bottom portion 61 and the second securing portion 65.
An opening 611 is defined in the bottom portion 61, corresponding to the through hole 211 of the second pole 20. Four fixing holes 613 (shown in
A connecting member 70 includes a first portion 71 with an inner fastener (not shown) and a second portion 73 connected to the first portion 71, received in the opening 611 of the bottom portion 61.

The securing component 60 is placed on the supporting panel 15 and the supporting plate 25. The two mounting holes 153 are aligned with two fixing holes 613 of the securing component 60, the two securing holes 253 are aligned with other two fixing holes 613 of the securing component 60, two first fixing members (not shown) are synchronously received in the two mounting holes 153 and the two fixing holes 613, and two second fixing members (not shown) are synchronously received in the two securing holes 253 and the other two fixing holes 613, to mount the securing component 60 to the supporting panel 15 and the supporting plate 25.
The support 50 is placed on the securing component 60, the first securing portion 63 is received in the first part 51 of the support 50, and the second securing portion 65 is received in second part 53 of the support 50. The three fastening holes 6311 of the side portion 631 are aligned with the three retaining holes 5112, 5132, 5152. Three first fastening members (not shown) are received in the three fastening holes 6311 and the three retaining holes 5112, 5132, 5152. The three fastening holes 6511 are aligned with the three positioning holes 5312, 5332, 5352. Three second fastening members (not shown) are received in the three fastening holes 6511 and the three positioning holes 5312, 5332, 5352 Therefore, the first and second securing portions 63, 65 of the securing component 60 are secured to the first and second parts 51, 53 of the support 50.
The connecting member 70 passes through the through hole 211 of the second pole 20, the hole 30 and the opening 611, and the second portion 73 is received in the opening 611. A footstand 80 is received in the inner fastener of the first portion 71 of the connecting member 70.
In addition, the second side panel 13 of the first pole 10 is mounted to the second side plate 23 of the second pole 20, and the support 50 is mounted to second side panel 13 and the second side plate 23. The sever rack assembly can be assembled stably.
It is to be understood, however, that even though numerous characteristics and advantages have been set forth in the foregoing description of embodiments, together with details of the structures and functions of the embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the disclosure to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
