Claims
- 1. A process for effecting catalytic conversion of organic compound containing feedstock which comprises contacting said feedstock at catalytic conversion conditions with a catalyst composition comprising a shape selective crystalline zeolite containing an intermetallic component, the intermetallic component comprises a hydrogenation-dehydrogenation first metal and a second metal selected from the group consisting of silicon and germanium.
- 2. The process of claim 1, wherein the shape selective crystalline zeolite comprises zeolite beta.
- 3. The process of claim 1 wherein the shape selective crystalline zeolite comprises ZSM-5.
- 4. In an improved process for dewaxing a hydrocarbon feedstock containing straight and/or slightly branched paraffins wherein the feedstock is contacted with catalyst comprising zeolite beta containing a hydrogenation metal component, the improvement comprises said zeolite beta containing an intermetallic component wherein the intermetallic component comprises a hydrogenation dehydrogenation first metal and a second metal selected from the group consisting of silicon and germanium.
- 5. The process of claim 4 wherein the intermetallic component comprises a hydrogenation-dehydrogenation first metal and a second metal selected from the group consisting of silicon and germanium.
