Claims
- 1. (Amended) [Shaped bodies,] A body comprising at least one shaped body (1)[, the] having an unloaded three-dimensional inherent volume configuration [includes] including a one-sided[,] integrated convexity[,] displaceable by [means of] at least one flexible active element (5) connected along the convexity with the shaped body (1)[,] by at least one of [way of] applying at least one of a variable compressive force and a [and/or] tensile force onto the at least one flexible active element (5) [and/or] and converting [wholly or partly convertible] into a different three-dimensional volume configuration by [means of] displacement into itself.
- 2. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim 1, [characterised in that] wherein one of [the] other three-dimensional volume configurations of the at least one shaped body (1), into which [it] the at least one shaped body (1) can be converted, is [that] volume configuration which forms [the] a mirror image to [its] an unloaded volume configuration of the at least one shaped body (1).
- 3. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [1 or] 2, [characterised in that] wherein the active element (5) is flexible[,] but nearly unstretchable in a linear sense.
- 4. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 1 to] 3, [characterised in that] wherein the at least one active element (5) is a tensile element (6).
- 5. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 1 to] 4, [characterised in that] wherein each said active element (5) is applied to at least one support structure (7)[, designed to allow] for modifying [the] a force application.
- 6. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to [any one of claims 1 to] claim 5, [characterised in that] wherein the support structure (7) is a frame.
- 7. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to [any one of claims 1 to] claim 6, [characterised in that] wherein a plurality of the active elements (5) acts onto the at least one shaped body (1) in a plurality of [different] directions.
- 8. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to [any one of claims 1 to] claim 7, [characterised in that] wherein a plurality of the active elements (5) act onto the at least one shaped body (1) in a plurality of [different] localities.
- 9. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to [any one of claims 1 to] claim 8, [characterised in that] wherein the at least one active element (5) is subjected to a directional change by [virtue of] the support structure (7).
- 10. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim 9, [characterised in that the] wherein a directional change is [brought about] achieved by a rotatable deflecting roll.
- 11. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to [any one of claims 1 to] claim 10, [characterised in that it] wherein the at least one shaped body (1) is associated with one of a concavity (8) [or] and a cavity (11)[, into or in] within which the at least one shaped body (1) is adapted to [enter or] be accommodated [therein wholly or partly] by [virtue of] a change in [the] a force applied to [one or more] the at least one active [elements] element (5).
- 12. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 1 to] 11, [characterised in that] wherein the force to be applied by the at least one active element (5) [can be] Is adjusted continuously.
- 13. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 1 to] 12, [characterised in that] wherein the force of the at least one active element (5) [can be] is adjusted incrementally.
- 14. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 1 to] 13, [characterised in that] wherein the force to be applied by a plurality of the active elements (5) is [adapted to be] adjusted jointly.
- 15. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 1 to] 14, [characterised in that] wherein the force to be applied by the at least one active element (5) is adjustable in a self-locking manner.

(Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 1 to] 21, [characterised in that] wherein the force to be applied to the at least one [an] active element (5) is applied [directly or indirectly] at least one of mechanically, [and/or] electrically, [and/or] pneumatically [and/or] and hydraulically.
- 23. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 1 to] 22, [characterised in that] wherein the at least one shaped body (1) in the longitudinal direction is slightly stretchable and is pressure resistant in the transverse direction.

- 30. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 25 to] 29, [characterised in that] wherein the segments (37) have different dimensions[, in particular heights] and are arranged at adjustable angles.
- 31. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 25 to] 30, [characterised in that] wherein the segments (37) [are composed of] have at least two parts and are interconnected [in an articulate manner].
- 32. (Amended) In the [Shaped] body according to claim [any one of claims 28 to] 31, [characterised in that] wherein the [additional part] parts and the segments (37) are made in one piece.
Please add the following new claims.
- 33. In the body according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of the active elements (5) acts onto the at least one shaped body (1) in a plurality of directions.
- 34. In the body according to claim 1, wherein the at least one active element (5) is subjected to a directional change by a support structure (7).
- 35. In the body according to claim 1, wherein the at least one shaped body (1) is associated with one of a concavity (8) and a cavity (11) within which the at least one shaped body (1) is adapted to be accommodated by a change in a force applied to the at least one active element (5).
- 36. In the body according to claim 1, wherein at least two of the shaped bodies (1, 1′) are interconnected by a plurality of connecting elements.
- 37. In the body according to claim 1, wherein the at least one shaped body (1) is modified by the at least one active element (5) at a plurality of staggered locations.
- 38. In the body according to claim 1, wherein the at least one shaped body (1) in a longitudinal direction is slightly stretchable and is pressure resistant in a transverse direction.
- 39. In the body according to claim 1, wherein the at least one shaped body (1) has a plurality of incisions (30).
- 40. In the body according to claim 1, wherein the at least one shaped body (1) comprises a plurality of segments (37).
