- 10. A sheet conveying apparatus according to claim 2, wherein said cleaning member comprises an ink absorbing material and said cleaning member is wider than said second rotary member.
- 11. A recording apparatus, comprising:
- a first rotary member having a plurality of teeth;
- a second rotary member having a plurality of teeth and being disposed downstream of said first rotary member in a sheet conveying direction;
- a single cleaning member simultaneously contacted with said first rotary member and said second rotary member for cleaning said plurality of teeth of said first rotary member and said plurality of teeth of said second rotary member; and
- recording means for recording an image on a conveyed sheet.
- 12. A recording apparatus according to claim 11, wherein said cleaning member comprises an ink absorbing material and said cleaning member is wider than said second rotary member.
- 13. An ink jet recording apparatus, comprising:
- a first rotary member having a plurality of teeth;
- a second rotary member having a plurality of teeth and being disposed downstream of said first rotary member in a sheet conveying direction;
- a single cleaning member simultaneously contacted with said first rotary member and said second rotary member for cleaning said plurality of teeth of said first rotary member and said plurality of teeth of said second rotary member; and
- a recording area for performing a recording by a recording means provided thereat.
- 14. An ink jet recording apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said cleaning means rotates while engaging said second rotary member.
- 15. An ink jet recording apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said plurality of teeth of said first rotary member are arranged on an outer peripheral surface of said first rotary member in a row, and said plurality of teeth of said second rotary member are arranged on an outer peripheral surface of said second rotary member in a row, and wherein said row of teeth of said first rotary member and said row of teeth of said second rotary member are offset from each other in a direction orthogonal to the sheet conveying direction.
- 16. An ink jet recording apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said cleaning member is so constructed as to rotate while engaging said first and second rotary members.
- 17. An ink jet recording apparatus according to claim 13, wherein the teeth of said second rotary member contact the sheet at one of a point and a line.
- 18. An ink jet recording apparatus according to claim 13, wherein the plurality of teeth of said second rotary member include plural rows of teeth arranged along an outer peripheral surface of said second rotary member.
- 19. A recording apparatus, comprising:
- a first rotary member having a plurality of teeth;
- a second rotary member having a plurality of teeth and being disposed downstream of said first rotary member in a sheet conveying direction;
- a single cleaning member simultaneously contacted with said first rotary member and said second rotary member for cleaning said plurality of teeth of said first rotary member and said plurality of teeth of said second rotary member; and
