Referring to FIGS. 2 to 4, a shelf device according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes four leg rod units 2, a plurality of shelf units 3, and four supporting units 4.

The four leg rod units 2 are upright, extend in a top-bottom direction, and are respectively located on four corners of the shelf device. Each of the leg rod units 2 includes a leg rod 21 that is an angle steel rod, and two coupling members 22 that are spaced apart from each other in the top-bottom direction and that are welded to the leg rod 21.

For each of the leg rod units 2, each of the coupling members 22 is disposed on a side of the leg rod 21 and is oriented toward the leg rod 21 of another leg rod unit 2. For each of the leg rod units 2, each of the coupling members 22 is formed in a V-shaped configuration. In this embodiment, the coupling members 22 of each of the leg rod units 2 are opposite to each other. In other variant embodiments, each of the coupling members 22 may be formed in one of a U-shaped configuration and a C-shaped configuration.

The shelf units 3 are spaced apart from each other in the top-bottom direction and are mounted to the leg rod units 2. Each of the shelf units 3 is transversely elongated and includes two transverse rods 31 that are spaced apart from each other in a front-rear direction and that are elongated in a left-right direction, and a mesh panel 32 that interconnects the transverse rods 31 and that is adapted for placement of objects.

Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5 in combination with FIGS. 2 and 3, each of the supporting units 4 is removably connected between an adjacent pair of the leg rod units 2 spaced apart in the front-rear direction. In this embodiment, the supporting units 4 are paired, and each pair of the supporting units 4 forms an X-shaped configuration between a corresponding adjacent pair of the leg rod units 2 spaced apart in the for-rear direction. Each of the supporting units 4 includes two supporting rods 41 and a connection set 42. The two supporting rods 41 are spaced apart from each other and are connected respectively and removably to the leg rods 21 of the corresponding adjacent pair of the leg rod units 2. The connection set 42 is connected between the supporting rods 41. Since the supporting units 4 are identical to each other, one of the supporting units 4 serving as a representation is described in details below.

For each of the supporting units 4, each of the supporting rods 41 has a first end hook 411 and a second end hook 412 that is opposite to the first end hook 411. As shown in FIG. 3, for each of the supporting units 4, the first end hook 411 of each of the supporting rods 41 is hooked to the coupling member 22 of the respective one of the corresponding adjacent pair of the leg rod units 2, and the second end hook 412 is hooked to the connection set 42.

In this embodiment, for each of the supporting units 4, the connection set 42 includes a first connecting member 43 and two second connecting members 44.

As shown in FIG. 4, the first connecting member 43 is spaced apart from the supporting rods 41, and has a looped body portion 431 and two insertion end portions 432.

The looped body portion 431 is elongated in a lengthwise direction of the first connecting member 43 and defines a looped space 433 elongated in the lengthwise direction of the first connecting member 43. The two insertion end portions 432 are respectively connected to two opposite ends of the looped body portion 431. Each of the insertion end portions 432 has a threaded hole 434 communicating with the looped space 433. The threaded holes 434 of the insertion end portions 432 are threaded in a manner where rotation directions of the threaded holes 434 are opposite to each other.

For each of the supporting units 4, at least one of the second connecting members 44 of the connection set 42 is removably inserted into the first connecting member 43 and is movable relative to the first connecting member 43 so as to change a length (11) of the connection set 42. In this embodiment, for each of the supporting units 4, the second connecting members 44 of the connection set 42 are respectively and removably inserted into two opposite ends of the first connecting member 43, and are movable relative to the first connecting member 43 so as to change the length (11) of the connection set 42. Each of the second connecting members 44 is removably connected between the first connecting member 43 and a respective one of the supporting rods 41. Specifically, for each of the supporting units 4, each of the second connecting members 44 has a threaded body portion 442 and a connecting head portion 441 that is integrally connected to the threaded body portion 442. The connecting head portion 441 is hooked by the second end hook 412 of the respective one of the supporting rods 41. The threaded body portion 442 is threaded to be in conformity with and is threadedly and removably inserted into the threaded hole 434 of a respective one of the insertion end portions 432 of the first connecting member 43 such that the threaded body portion 442 is allowed to extend into the looped space 433 (see FIG. 5).

In this embodiment, the supporting rods 41 of each of the supporting units 4 are removable from the leg rods 21 of the corresponding adjacent pair of the leg rod units 2. For the connection set 42 of each of the supporting units 4, each of the second connecting members 44 is removable from the first connecting member 43 and is removable from the respective supporting rod 41. When the shelf device of the disclosure is packaged, the leg rods 21 may be packaged together in a manner where the leg rods 21 are tightly arranged after removal of the supporting units 4. As a result, because the leg rods 21 of the leg rod units 2 may not need to form a space for accommodation of the supporting units 4 during the packaging of the shelf device of the disclosure, the packaged volume of the shelf device of the disclosure may be effectively reduced in comparison with the prior art, thereby facilitating transportation and reducing a transportation cost.

Referring to FIG. 6 in combination with FIGS. 4 and 5, for each of the supporting units 4, because the threaded body portion 442 of each of the second connecting members 44 of the connection set 42 is threadedly inserted into the threaded hole 434 of the respective insertion end portion 432 of the first connecting member 43, the second connecting members 44 are movable relative to the first connecting member 43 so as to change the length (11) of the connection set 42.

In this embodiment, for each of the supporting units 4, each of the second connecting members 44 is threadedly and removably inserted into the first connecting member 43, and is threadedly movable relative to the first connecting member 43 so as to change a total length of portions of the second connecting members 44 that are disposed outside of the first connecting member 43. As shown in FIG. 5, in use of the shelf device of the disclosure, when the looped body portion 431 of the first connecting member 43 is rotated clockwise, the second connecting members 44 are driven to move away from each other (see FIGS. 5 and 6) so as to lengthen the length (11) of the connection set 42 (See FIGS. 5 and 6). As a result, a total length of the supporting unit 4 is lengthened so that the supporting unit 4 may interconnect the leg rods 21 of the corresponding adjacent pair of the leg rod units 2 that are spaced apart from each other in a relatively large distance.

Referring back to FIGS. 5 and 6, when the looped body portion 431 of the first connecting member 43 is rotated counterclockwise, the second connecting members 44 are driven to move toward each other so as to shorten the length (11) of the connection set 42 (see FIG. 5). As a result, the total length of the supporting unit 4 is shortened so that the supporting unit 4 may interconnect the leg rods 21 of the corresponding adjacent pair of the leg rod units 2 that are spaced apart from each other in a relatively small distance.

By virtue of the length (11) of the connection set 42 of a respective one of the supporting unit 4 being changeable to adjust the total length of the respective supporting unit 4, the leg rods 21 of the leg rod units 2 in cooperation with the respective supporting unit 4 may be assembled with the shelf units 3 that are different in width in the front-rear direction. That is to say, the shelf units 3 that are different in dimension may be assembled with the same leg rods 21 of the leg rod units 2 and the same supporting units 4, thereby saving manufacturing cost of the supporting units 4.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, by virtue of the length (11) of the connection set 42 of the respective supporting unit 4 being changeable to adjust the total length of the respective supporting unit 4, tension applied by the respective supporting unit 4 is adjustable to act on the leg rods 21 of the corresponding adjacent pair of the leg rod units 2.
