The present invention relates to a shelf with at least one shelf post and a plurality of shelf floors, wherein the at least one shelf post includes at least one node element which is fixed and supported on at least one post profile by at least one pin which is inserted into a hollow chamber of the post profile and on which a corner of a shelf floor is held in a receptable.
In shelving systems, it is common practice to support individual shelf floors on shelf posts arranged at the corners of the shelf floors. For stable support and a filigree arrangement of the posts, node elements can be provided, each comprising a receptable for a corner of the shelf floor. The height of the shelves and the size of the shelf floors can be freely selected thanks to the modular design.
The post-published DE 10 2020 124 885 discloses a piece of furniture in which a receiving element serves to receive a corner area of a shelf element. The receiving element includes a plug-in socket that can be inserted into a hollow chamber of a profile element so that the shelf has a stable structure. The shelf floor is adapted to the connection with the receiving element. It is not possible to fix differently designed shelf elements to the receiving element. The special feature of this piece of furniture is that the shelf is moved by a combined rotation-translation fitting from a setting in which the shelf floors are concealed by walls to a setting in which the shelf floors are accessible.
It is therefore the problem to be solved by the present invention to create a shelf which has a modular structure and in which a corner area of a shelf can be effectively fixed to a node element.
This problem is solved by a shelf with the features of claim 1.
In the shelf according to the invention, a receptable for the corner area of the shelf floor and at least one pin, which is inserted into a hollow chamber of a shelf post, is formed in one piece with the node element. This simplifies the assembly of the shelf and results in a stable fixing of the node element to the shelf post. The receptable preferably includes a floor, a top side and two angle-shaped side walls, so that the corner of the shelf floor is surrounded by the receptable of the node element.
Preferably, an adjustable adjustment element is provided on the at least one node element, by means of which the shelf floor can be clamped to the node element. This allows a corner of a shelf floor to be inserted into the receptable of the node element during assembly in order to then fix it in place using the adjustment element, which is arranged on the node element in an adjustable manner for fixing. This allows the shelf to be assembled flexibly and different shelf floors can be fixed to the node element.
For stepless adjustment, the adjustment element can include a threaded bolt that ensures axial movement of the adjustment element by turning. The adjustment element can be formed as a screw or include a screw, whereby the screw is either screwed into the shelf or rests on a surface of the shelf floor, in particular to clamp it in place. Alternatively, other fastening elements can be provided as adjustment elements, such as clamping bodies, tension levers or pushers.
In a preferred embodiment, the at least one post profile is formed as a hollow profile. The post profile can be made of metal, for example aluminium or a steel sheet. The post profile can comprise a circular, square or rectangular cross section in the longitudinal direction, for example, whereby the pin and the hollow chamber of the hollow profile can also be circular, square, rectangular or have a different contour in order to ensure a stable connection.
At least one node element preferably comprises a pin on opposite sides, respectively, each pin being inserted into a hollow chamber of a post profile. This centre node element is thus connected to a post profile on opposite sides, so that the shelf can be assembled modularly at any height.
Preferably, the node element comprises a support for a shelf floor that extends in a horizontal direction beyond a top side of the receptable. The receptable can comprise a floor and a top side, between which the corner of the shelf floor is inserted. In particular, the receptable is designed in such a way that the corner of the shelf floor can be inserted into the receptable without any machining, e.g. drilling or milling. This greatly simplifies the assembly of the shelf. The support thus protrudes over the receptable with at least one section, with the protruding part of the support preferably comprising the adjustment element. As a result, the adjustment element can be positioned at a distance from the shelf post and is more accessible during assembly. In addition, the node element on the receptable with a thin wall thickness can ensure stable fixing of the shelf floor, whereby the wall thickness on the receptable is preferably between 1 mm and 10 mm, in particular 1.5 mm to 5 mm. The node element can be made of plastic or metal.
The shelf according to the invention can be used as a stand-alone piece of furniture or integrated into a stationary piece of furniture. The shelf according to the invention can also be used in a piece of furniture in which the shelf is moved by a combined rotation-translation fitting from a setting in which the floor elements are concealed by walls to a setting in which the floor elements are accessible.

A shelf 1 includes one or more shelf posts 2, and a plurality of shelf floors 3 are supported on the at least one shelf post 2. In the embodiment example shown, the shelf floors 3 are formed rectangularly in plan view, in particular square, with an angularly arranged rear wall 4 being provided on two sides of the shelf floors 3, while openings to the shelf floors 3 are provided on two sides. The shelf post 2 is arranged between the openings. If the shelf 1 is used in a piece of furniture in which the shelf 1 is moved by a combined rotation-translation fitting from a position in which the shelf floors 3 are concealed by walls to a setting in which the shelf floors 3 are accessible, this fitting would be arranged on the top side of the uppermost shelf 3 and/or on the bottom side of the lowermost shelf 3.
An opening 14 for mounting an adjustment element, in particular a screw, is recessed on the top side 13. A pin 17 is arranged on the floor 12, on which one or more connection points 18 are provided. The connection points 18 can be formed as openings for fastening means, clamping elements, such as nubs or projections. The pin 17 is inserted into a hollow chamber of a post profile 6, and the connection points 18 can provide additional strength for the connection. The receptable 11 and the pin 17 are formed in one piece with the node element 10 and are advantageously designed so that the shelf floor 3 does not need to be machined. This simplifies the assembly of the shelf 1′.
A downwardly projecting pin 25 is provided on the floor 22 and an upwardly projecting pin 24 is provided on the top side 21. The pins 24 and 25 each comprise one or more connection points 26, which are formed as a clamping body, opening or other element for fixing to the post profile 6. The receptable 20 and the pins 24, 25 are formed in one piece with the node element 8 and are advantageously designed so that the shelf floor 3 does not need to be machined. This simplifies the assembly of the shelf 1, 1′.
A pin 37 with one or more connection points 38 is provided on the floor 32, which serve to fix the pin 37 in a post profile 6. The receptable 31, the pin 37 and the wall 39 are formed in one piece with the node element 10 and are advantageously designed so that the shelf floor 3 does not have to be machined. This simplifies the assembly of the shelf 1, 1′.
The adjustment element 40 includes a screw with a threaded section 41, which engages in a sleeve-shaped clamping element 42 that can be placed with a contact surface 43 against a top side or bottom side of a shelf floor 3.
In the embodiment example shown, the shelf post 2 can be designed so that the post profiles 6 are aligned flush with the side walls 15, 16, 28, 29, 34, 35 on the outside, so that there are no steps on the shelf post 2. The node elements 7, 8 and 10 can be made of metal or plastic or combinations of different materials. The post profiles 6 can also be made of metal or plastic and preferably have a hollow chamber into which the pins 17, 24, 25 and 37 can be inserted.
The shelf floors 3 can be inserted in different thicknesses into the receptables 11, 20, 31 of the node elements 7, 8 and 10. The shelf floors 3 can also be made of other materials, such as plastic, metal or glass, instead of a wood material.
