Abstract
A shelving structure may include a plurality of sleeves and wire shelves. Each of the sleeves has an upper opening and a lower opening for connecting purpose, and a plurality of connecting holes are formed on the sleeve. Each of the wire shelves comprises a bearing surface formed by welding of cross steel bars, and each of edges of the wire shelf is formed by welding of the steel bar. Each of inserting spaces is formed at the corner of two adjacent edges of the wire shelf. Each of the sleeves is connected at the corner of the wire shelf, and each of the steel bars on the edge of the wire shelf is connected to the connecting holes of two adjacent sleeves at two ends. The sleeve is stamped by a module of a stamping machine so as to deform and connect the connecting hole and the steel bar together.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a shelving structure and more particularly to a shelving structure made through forging and stamping process.


BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

At present, a common shelving structure usually comprises a wire shelf to put objects thereon, and the wire shelf is made of a number of intersected wires (40) through cross welding, and each of four corners of the wire shelf is connected to a sleeve (50). The convention connection method is to use welding to secure the sleeves (50) and the wires (40) together, and each of welding point (60) is formed between the sleeve (50) and the wire (40), and the end of the wire (40) is welded on the outer periphery of the sleeve (50) (as shown in FIGS. 14 and 15).


However, the conventional shelving structure has following disadvantages: (i) the welding must be processed with welding material such as welding bar, protective gas, and electrodes, which increases the costs; and (ii) the welding process will generate heat, dazzling light and toxic gas, which are certain harms to human body. Therefore, there remains a need for a new and improved design for a shelving structure to overcome the problems presented above.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention provides a shelving structure comprising a plurality of sleeves and a plurality of wire shelves. Each of the sleeves has two openings respectively and axially penetrating through an upper end and a lower end thereof for connecting purpose, and a plurality of connecting holes are formed on the outer periphery of the sleeve. Each of the wire shelves comprises a bearing surface which is formed by welding of cross steel bars, and each of edges of the wire shelf is formed by welding of the steel bar, and each of inserting spaces is formed at the corner of two adjacent edges of the wire shelf. Each of the sleeves is connected at the corner of the wire shelf, and each of the steel bars on the edge of the wire shelf is connected to the connecting holes of two adjacent sleeves at two ends. The sleeve is stamped by a module of a stamping machine, and the connecting hole and the end of the steel bar are deformed by stamping process so as to be firmly connected together.


Comparing with conventional shelving structure, the present invention is advantageous because: the connecting hole and the steel bar is firmly connected through stamping process that deforms the connecting hole and the steel bar, so as to save the cost of welding process and avoid the harms caused by the dazzling light and gas produced during welding.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The detailed description set forth below is intended as a description of the presently exemplary device provided in accordance with aspects of the present invention and is not intended to represent the only forms in which the present invention may be prepared or utilized. It is to be understood, rather, that the same or equivalent functions and components may be accomplished by different embodiments that are also intended to be encompassed within the spirit and scope of the invention.

Although any methods, devices and materials similar or equivalent to those described can be used in the practice or testing of the invention, the exemplary methods, devices and materials are now described.

In order to further understand the goal, characteristics and effect of the present invention, a number of embodiments along with the drawings are illustrated as following:


Referring to FIGS. 1 and 7, the present invention provides a shelving structure comprising a plurality of sleeves (10) and a plurality of wire shelves (20). Each of the sleeves (10) has two openings (11) respectively and axially penetrating through an upper end and a lower end thereof for connecting purpose, and a plurality of connecting holes (12) are formed on the outer periphery of the sleeve (10). Each of the wire shelves (20) comprises a bearing surface (21) which is formed by welding of cross steel bars (22), and each of edges of the wire shelf (20) is formed by welding of the steel bar (22), and each of inserting spaces is formed at the corner of two adjacent edges of the wire shelf (20). Moreover, each of the sleeves (10) is connected at the corner of the wire shelf (20), and each of the steel bars (22) on the edge of the wire shelf (20) is connected to the connecting holes (12) of two adjacent sleeves (10) at two ends. The sleeve (10) is stamped by a module (31) of a stamping machine (30), and the connecting hole (12) and the end of the steel bar (22) are deformed by stamping process so as to be firmly connected together.


In one embodiment, each of the connecting holes (12) has an outward protruding periphery (121) formed at the outer periphery thereof; when the sleeve (10) is stamped by the module (31) of the stamping machine (30), the protruding periphery (121) is radially inward pressed, so that the end of the steel bar (22) is radially inward deformed in the connecting hole (12), and at least an engaging point (23), which is formed on the inner periphery of the protruding periphery (121), is abutted against the radially inward deformed section of the end of the steel bar (22) so as to secure the connection between the connecting hole (12) and the steel bar (22) (as shown in FIGS. 2 to 5).


In another embodiment, each of the connecting holes (12) is a through hole (122); when the sleeve (10) is stamped by the module (31) of the stamping machine (30), the outer end of the through hole (122) is radially inward pressed, and the end of the steel bar (22) is radially inward deformed in the connecting hole (12), and at least an engaging point (23) is formed around the opening of the through hole (122) to abut against the concaved periphery of the steel bar (22) so as to secure the connection between the connecting hole (12) and the steel bar (22) (as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9).


In still another embodiment, each of the connecting holes (12) is a slotted hole (123); when the sleeve (10) is stamped by the module (31) of the stamping machine (30), the outer end of the slotted hole (123) is radially inward pressed, and the end of the steel bar (22) is radially inward deformed in the connecting hole (12), and at least an engaging point (23) is formed around the opening of the slotted hole (123) to abut against the concaved periphery of the steel bar (22) so as to secure the connection between the connecting hole (12) and the steel bar (22) (as shown in FIGS. 10 to 13).


In a further embodiment, each of the sleeves (10) is a tapered cylindrical sleeve (10), and the diameter of the upper opening of the sleeve (10) is smaller than that of the lower opening of the sleeve (10).


In still a further embodiment, the wire shelf (20) is a single-layer wire mesh.


In a preferred embodiment, the wire shelf (20) is a double-layer wire mesh.


In another preferred embodiment, each of the two ends of the steel bar (22) has a locating groove (221) to reinforce the connection between the sleeve (10) and the steel bar (22) after stamping.


In an advantageous embodiment, when stamping, each of the connecting holes (12) is abutted against a stamping fixture at the inner periphery thereof to prevent the wire material overflow.


Comparing with conventional shelving structure, the present invention is advantageous because: the connecting hole (12) and the steel bar (22) is firmly connected through stamping process that deforms the connecting hole (12) and the steel bar (22), so as to save the cost of welding process and avoid the harms caused by the dazzling light and gas produced during welding.


Having described the invention by the description and illustrations above, it should be understood that these are exemplary of the invention and are not to be considered as limiting. Accordingly, the invention is not to be considered as limited by the foregoing description, but includes any equivalents.

Claims
  • 1. A shelving structure comprising a plurality of sleeves and a plurality of wire shelves; wherein each of the sleeves has two openings respectively and axially penetrating through an upper end and a lower end thereof for connecting purpose, and a plurality of connecting holes are formed on the outer periphery of the sleeve; each of the wire shelves comprises a bearing surface which is formed by welding of cross steel bars, and each of edges of the wire shelf is formed by welding of the steel bar, and each of inserting spaces is formed at the corner of two adjacent edges of the wire shelf; each of the sleeves is connected at the corner of the wire shelf, and each of the steel bars on the edge of the wire shelf is connected to the connecting holes of two adjacent sleeves at two ends; and the sleeve is stamped by a module of a stamping machine, and the connecting hole and the end of the steel bar are deformed by stamping process so as to be firmly connected together.
  • 2. The shelving structure of claim 1, wherein each of the connecting holes has an outward protruding periphery formed at the outer periphery thereof.
  • 3. The shelving structure of claim 1, wherein each of the connecting holes is a through hole.
  • 4. The shelving structure of claim 1, wherein each of the connecting holes is a slotted hole.
  • 5. The shelving structure of claim 1, wherein each of the sleeves is a tapered cylindrical sleeve.
  • 6. The shelving structure of claim 1, wherein the wire shelf is a single-layer wire mesh.
  • 7. The shelving structure of claim 1, wherein the wire shelf is a double-layer wire mesh.
  • 8. The shelving structure of claim 1, wherein each of the two ends of the steel bar has a locating groove.
  • 9. The shelving structure of claim 1, wherein when stamping, the connecting hole is abutted against a stamping fixture at the inner periphery thereof.
