Claims
- 1. A shift control apparatus of a continuously variable transmission, comprising:
- shift map storing means for storing a shift map;
- input target value deciding means for deciding a target value of an input rotation speed of the transmission from an output rotation speed of the transmission and the load condition of a motor on the basis of said shift map;
- gear ratio changing means for changing means for continuously changing a gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission so that the transmission input rotation speed is adjusted to the target value; and
- shift speed changing means for changing a rate of change of the transmission input rotation speed according to a driver's command.
- 2. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein said shift map storing means stores a plurality of different shift maps, and a shift map is selected from the different shift maps according to a driver's command.
- 3. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 2, further comprising a display that displays a two-dimensional image plane defined by an axis of a shift map and an axis of a shift speed, and a point indicative of said selected shift map and the selected shift speed.
- 4. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 3, wherein said display has a touch panel, and the shift map and the shift speed are changed by touching each of the shift map axis and the shift speed axis through the touch panel.
- 5. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 3, further comprising a touch panel installed on the display, wherein the shift map and the shift speed are changed by touching a point of the two-dimensional image plane through the touch panel.
- 6. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 4, wherein when a shift characteristic indicative of the selected shift map and the selected shift speed is changed to a new point, said display displays the previous point of the shift characteristic as a residual image for a predetermined time.
- 7. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 6, wherein said display displays the residual image representative of the previous point paler than the present image indicative of the present point.
- 8. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 3, wherein said display displays a present gear ratio.
- 9. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 8, wherein said display selectively displays a shift condition image plane representative of the shift ratio and the two-dimensional image plane representative of the selected shift characteristic.
- 10. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 9, wherein said display has a switch panel portion, the image plane displayed on said display is changed from the shift condition image plane to the two-dimensional image plane by touching the switch panel portion, and the image plane on said display is changed from the two-dimensional image plane to the shift condition image plane if the switch panel portion is not touched for a predetermined time period.
- 11. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the continuously variable transmission provides a plurality of selectable gear ratios in a manual mode in which a driver manually selects one of the gear ratios, said shift speed changing means changing the shift speed according to the driver's command.
- 12. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 11, further comprising a display that displays a two-dimensional image plane defined by an axis of a shift map and an axis of a shift speed, and a point indicative of said selected shift map and the selected shift speed, wherein the shift speed is changed by touching the touch panel on said display.
- 13. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 12, wherein said display displays a present gear ratio and a selected gear level ratio in the manual mode.
- 14. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 13, wherein said display selectively displays the shift condition image plane displaying the present gear ratio and the selected gear level, and the shift speed changing image plane on which the shift speed changing operation in the manual mode is executed.
- 15. A shift control apparatus as claimed in claim 14, wherein said display has a switch panel portion, the image plane displayed on said display is changed from the shift condition image plane to the shift speed changing image plane by touching the switch panel portion, and the image plane on said display is changed from the shift speed changing image plane to the shift condition image plane if the switch panel portion is not touched for a predetermined time period.
- 16. A shift control apparatus of a continuously variable transmission comprising:
- a sensor unit that detects actual input and output rotation speed of the continuously variable transmission and an actual engine rotation speed of an engine connected to the continuously variable transmission;
- a controller having a shift map, wherein the controller decides a target value of an input rotation speed of the transmission from an output rotation speed of the transmission and the load condition of a motor on the basis of the shift map, to continuously change a gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission so that the transmission input rotation speed is adjusted to the target value and to change a rate of change of the transmission input rotation speed according to a driver's command; and
- a display unit that displays the selected shift map and the shift speed, the display unit receiving the driver's command for changing the shift speed and outputting it to the controller.
