The disclosure relates to insole devices and more particularly pertains to a new insole device for enhancing the odor of a shoe.
The prior art relates to insole devices. The prior art discloses an insole that is comprised of a pair of laminar pieces. Additionally, the prior art discloses an insole that has odor absorbing properties. The prior art also discloses an insole which includes a plurality of layers, an odor eliminator and a fragrance. The prior art also discloses an insole for absorbing perspiration to inhibit blisters from forming. Additionally, the prior art discloses an insole that has an odor absorbing material integrated therein.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising an insole that is insertable into a shoe. The insole is comprised of a resiliently compressible material to enhance comfort for a user wearing the shoe. Additionally, the insole is infused with a chemical odor eliminator to reduce odors associated with shoes. The insole is infused with a volatile chemical scent that is released from the insole to enhance the scent of the shoe. A cushion is coupled to the insole and the cushion is comprised of a resiliently compressible material to enhance comfort for the user.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
The insole 12 has a heel ridge 20 that extends upwardly therefrom for cradling the user's heel. The insole 12 has a top surface 22, a bottom surface 24 and a perimeter edge 26 extending therebetween. The perimeter edge 26 defines an elongated ovoid shape thereby facilitating the insole 12 to conform to the sole of the shoe 14. The heel ridge 20 is positioned on the top surface 22 and the heel ridge 20 is aligned with the perimeter edge 26 and curves around a rear end 28 of the insole 12.
A cushion 30 is coupled to the insole 12 and the cushion 30 is comprised of a resiliently compressible material to enhance comfort for the user. The cushion 30 has a heel portion 32 and a toe portion 34, and each of the heel portion 32 and the toe portion 34 is comprised of a plurality of resiliently compressible beads 36. The heel portion 32 is aligned with the user's heel and the toe portion 34 is aligned with the user's toes. In this way the compressible beads 36 enhance cushioning at pressure points in the shoe 14. The cushion 30 has an upper surface 38, a lower surface 40 and a peripheral edge 42 extending therebetween. The upper surface 38 is bonded to the bottom surface 24 of the insole 12 and the peripheral edge 42 is aligned with the perimeter edge 26 of the insole 12.
In use, the insole 12 is inserted into the shoe 14 for reducing odors and for releasing a pleasing scent. Additionally, the insole 12 enhances comfort of the shoe 14 for the user. The insole 12 can be removed from the shoe 14 at any time for washing the shoe 14 or repairing the shoe 14. The insole 12 can be replaced when the chemical fragrance is depleted or when the insole 12 no longer reduces odors.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
