Claims
- 1. A method for a person to replace one interchangeable heel with another interchangeable heel on a shoe, the method comprising the steps of:
- a. lifting a rear portion of an insole of said shoe by pulling a tab provided thereon, to unfasten a fastening surface of a padding layer affixed on the insole from a complimentary fastening surface of a padding layer affixed on a rear portion of an outsole of said shoe, which exposes a head portion of a large bolt extending through a large opening on the outsole and fastened to said one interchangeable heel;
- b. unscrewing said large bolt by engaging a key with said head portion of said large bolt to detach said one interchangeable heel from said shoe;
- c. anchoring said other interchangeable heel to said shoe by inserting at least one protrusion on said other interchangeable heel into at least one small opening on said outsole to secure proper orientation of said other interchangeable heel with respect to said shoe;
- d. rotating said large bolt by engaging said key with said head portion of said large bolt to fasten said other interchangeable heel to said shoe; and
- e. pressing said insole back to fasten said fastening surface of said padding layer affixed on said insole to said complimentary fastening surface of said padding layer affixed on said outsole, such that said padding layer affixed on said insole covers said head portion of said large bolt, provides a padding between said respective rear portions of said insole and outsole, and prevents said rear portion of said insole from moving within said shoe; whereby said person can replace said one interchangeable heel with said other interchangeable heel without using additional tools or going to a shoe shop.
- 2. A method for a person to replace one interchangeable heel with another interchangeable heel on a shoe, the method comprising the steps of:
- a. lifting a rear portion of an insole of said shoe to unfasten a fastening surface of a padding layer affixed on the insole from a complimentary fastening surface of a padding layer affixed on a rear portion of an outsole of said shoe, which exposes a large bolt extending through the outsole and fastened to said one interchangeable heel;
- b. unscrewing said large bolt to detach said one interchangeable heel from said shoe;
- c. anchoring said other interchangeable heel to said shoe by engaging an anchoring and orientation member on said other interchangeable heel with a complimentary anchoring and orientation member on said outsole to secure proper orientation of said other interchangeable heel with respect to said shoe;
- d. rotating said large bolt to fasten said other interchangeable heel to said shoe; and
- e. placing said insole back to fasten said fastening surface of said padding layer affixed on the insole to said complimentary fastening surface of said padding layer affixed on said outsole, such that said padding layer affixed on the insole covers said large bolt, provides a padding between said respective rear portions of said insole and outsole, and prevents said rear portion of said insole from moving within said shoe;
- f. whereby said person can replace said one interchangeable heel with said other interchangeable heel without going to a shoe shop.
- 3. The method as defined in claim 2 wherein the step of unscrewing said large bolt to detach said one interchangeable heel from said shoe is performed by utilizing a flat key.
- 4. The method as defined in claim 2 wherein the step of unscrewing said large bolt to detach said one interchangeable heel from said shoe is performed by utilizing a small coin.
- 5. A method for a person to replace one interchangeable heel with another interchangeable heel on a shoe, the method comprising the steps of:
- a. lifting a rear portion of an insole of said shoe to unfasten at least one padding layer and to expose a bolt extending through a rear portion of an outsole of said shoe and fastened to said one interchangeable heel, where the at least one padding layer is provided between the respective rear portions of the insole and the outsole;
- b. unscrewing said bolt to detach said one interchangeable heel from said shoe;
- c. anchoring said other interchangeable heel to said shoe to secure proper orientation of said other interchangeable heel with respect to said shoe;
- d. rotating said bolt to fasten said other interchangeable heel to said shoe; and
- e. placing said insole back to fasten said at least one padding layer and to cover said large bolt, where said at least one padding layer provides a padding between said respective rear portions of said insole and said outsole and prevents said rear portion of said insole from moving within said shoe;
- f. whereby said person can replace said one interchangeable heel with said other interchangeable heel without going to a shoe shop.
- 6. The method as defined in claim 5 wherein the step of unscrewing said screw to detach said one interchangeable heel from said shoe is performed by utilizing a flat key.
- 7. The method as defined in claim 5 wherein the step of unscrewing said screw to detach said one interchangeable heel from said shoe is performed by utilizing a small coin.
