The present invention generally relates to a shoe and in particular, relates to a shoe pocket to put a tracking device.
Kids and old people easily go astray from family or group during outdoor visits. Old people due to loss of memory or Alzheimer's disease can't trace their home location because of that, many old people are kept in house and family members do not let them go alone even in a park or nearby market for short walk. Same situation also applies for kids who may be persuaded by antisocial elements for kidnapping. Kids may also go astray while going out alone to play in parks or nearby areas.
Therefore, families used to provide mobile numbers or cell phones to older people or kids while sent alone. While older people can't even recollect to share the number or get assistance during extreme situations or number notes, or cell phone may be lost at the same time giving phone numbers, chest notes or cell phone may not be safe to kids, many kids may not properly take care of these things.
In order to avoid the above situations, many solutions have been provided in shoes wherein complex GPS systems have been configured to keep track of kids or old people. However, due to complex circuitry system, these GPS enabled shoes used be very expensive. Further, the operating method and involvement of skilled people to track the wearer of the shoe is also complex. Therefore, there is a need to solve the above problem by suitable modification to ensure that kids or older people always have these on them, hence providing security and peace of mind to parents and family members.
Embodiments in accordance with the present invention is to provide a shoe with a pocket or container. In the embodiment, the shoe is designed to have a pocket for a tracking device. In the embodiment the tracking device may include air tags, smart tags, tile, chipolo or other mobile phone friendly tracking device. In one of the embodiments, the pocket may be fitted with GPS system. In one of the embedment, the pocket may be incorporated on the back of the shoe. In another embodiment, the pocket is incorporated on the tongue of the shoe.
In the embodiment, the pocket is a waterproof container in which the tracking device may be fitted. In the embodiment the dimensions of the pocket may be designed to fit tracker device of different make which may be secured using a zipper.
In one of the embodiments, the pocket may be incorporated at the inner side of the heel counter of a shoe. In the embodiment, the pocket may be made of waterproof material such as plastics. The length and width of the pocket may be 18 mm, while depth may be 3 mm. In the embodiment the opening may be 13 mm which is secured by a zipper. The dimensions of the pocket may be modified to match tracking devices of various other brands.
The pocket provided by the present invention may incorporate any type of tracking device. Various tracking devices are found in the market and a user may buy any type of tracking device based on his financial capacity and place the tracking device in the pocket provided at the heel counter of a shoe.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention provides an AirTag is to be placed in the shoe pocket. The AirTag sends out a secure Bluetooth signal that can be detected by nearby devices in the user's Find My network option. There may be various devices in the nearby area of the airtag, the location of which is sent to iCloud. The Find My app option in user's service provides location in map. Since the whole process is anonymous and encrypted, user's privacy is also protected. The pocket provided in the shoes provides a container for the tracking device including airtag.
