BACKGROUND
There are only a few devices for carrying babies; infants and toddlers. Current devices are bulky and are cumbersome to carry around or even put in a car. Some are baby portable car seat. With a little or no view to enjoy the ride, babies often fall asleep confined with seatbelt.
Shoulder Saddle Baby Carrier offers a lightweight device, when not in use, it could be folded in one’s pocket. Unlike other devices, the Shoulder Baby Saddle Carrier offers the baby an exciting ride, with joyful view of surroundings. Whether riding alone, or two across from each other; the device keeps the rider thrilled and joyed.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The Adjustable Carrier’s Head Harness FIG. 1, FIG. 2, FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 comprises of a vertical part that encircles the vault of the scalp to the chin, a transverse part that surrounds the forehead (above the eyebrows line) to the occiput With six rings securely fastened to the Harness: two on each side, and two on the back to allow toddlers to sit on both shoulders.
The two Adjustable Baby Chest Holding Belts (FIG. 5) are fastened around the baby’s chest and lower abdomen. Not too tight to restrict breathing, but not loose either, just enough to keep the baby in upright position. Each belt has a Snap-On ring to hinge on the corresponding holding ring on the head harness according to the desired position.
BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
FIG. 1 through FIG. 4; illustrate different views of the Adjustable Carrier’s Head Harness. It comprises of Velcro straps, padded for extra comfort to the carrier. The Harness has six rings: two on each side and two on the occiput. FIG. 5 illustrates the Adjustable Baby Chest Holding Belts, with lock-ring that snaps on the harness rings to anchor the baby on the shoulder in 3 different positions: right or left shoulder, and both shoulders, as illustrated in FIGS. 6 through 9
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Unlike current bulky devices I found, some lock the infant’s feet and ankles, others confine the baby to a sizable baby car-seat with seat belt, not only too bulky to use, and but also too cumbersome to carry around when not used.
Shoulder Saddle Baby Carrier can fit in one’s pocket. It allows the baby a unique and exciting ride, with the joy of having arms and legs all free to move, while only the baby’s torso securely anchored to the carrier’s head harness via two rings. The device allows the baby to ride on either shoulder as in FIG. 6; or both shoulders as in FIGS. 7 through 9 illustrate.
