1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a shower curtain, and more particularly to a shower curtain with a lace fabric.
2. Description of Related Art
Lace has net designs to provide specific visible effect and to be a fabric material for fashion in Romanticism style, so lace is widely applied to evening dress or glove. In addition, the lace is also widely used on curtain, sofa or tablecolth.
With reference to
To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention tends to provide a shower curtain to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.
The main objective of the invention is to provide a shower curtain having a lace fabric.
The shower curtain has a lace fabric, a first water-proof layer and a second water-proof layer. The lace fabric has two sides and includes a dense segment and a sparse segment. The first water-proof layer and the second water-proof layer are attached respectively to the sides of the lace fabric. Other objects, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
With reference to
The lace fabric 10 has two sides and figures formed on the lace fabric 10, the figure on the lace fabric 10 is based on different design need and is not limited in the present invention. The lace fabric 10 includes a dense segment 11 and a sparse segment 12, wherein the net density of the dense segment 11 is higher than that of the spare segment 12. The sparse segment 12 includes a pierced segment 120 having a low net density. The first water-proof layer 30 and the second water-proof layer 40 are attached respectively to the sides of the lace fabric 10.
The first water-proof layer 30 comprises a first TPU (Thermoplastic polyurethanes) layer 31 and a first adhesive layer 32 mounted between the first TPU layer 31 and the lace fabric 10. The first adhesive layer 32 is permeated into the pierced segment 120 of the spares segment 12. The second water-proof layer 40 comprises a second TPU layer 41 and a second adhesive layer 42 mounted between the second TPU layer 41 and the lace fabric 10. The second adhesive layer 42 is also permeated into the pierced segment 120 of the spares segment 12.
To attach the water-proof layers 30,40 to the lace fabric 10, the first adhesive layer 32 is coated onto one side the first TPU layer 31, and the lace fabric 10 is expanded flatly on a machine. The side of the TPU layer 31 having the first adhesive layer 32 is attached onto one side of the lace fabric 10 and is pressed by the heated roller of the machine so as to combine the lace fabric 10 with the first water-proof layer 30 together. The lace fabric 10 is then turn upside down, the second TPU layer 41 is attached to the other side of the lace fabric 10 by the second adhesive layer 42 and is pressed and heated to combined with the lace fabric 10. Because the TPU layers 31,41 has water-proof, environmental, non-poisonous, mould-proof, antibacterial, wear-proof, corrosion-proof, light, soft and resilient capabilities, the water-proof layers 30,40 can be attached to the lace fabric smoothly to form as a single sheet and have a Configuration as the shapes of the protrusions and concavities of the lace fabric 10 to provide an aesthetic effect. With the excellent intensity of tension of the TPU layers 31.41, the shower curtain in accordance with the present invention is not easily twisted and deformed.
Preferably, the first TPU layer 31 and the second TUP layer 41 are transparent colorless film. Alternatively, the first TPU layer 31 and the second TUP layer 41 are transparent colored film.
Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
