- 10. A shutter release device according to claim 8, wherein said shutter has a shutter operating member engagable with and disengagable from said engaging lever to carry out an exposure, and a means for linearly urging said shutter operating member in a direction in which said shutter operating member is moved to carry out the exposure, said engaging lever being rotated by said delay member so that said shutter operating member is disengaged from said engaging lever and moved to carry out the exposure.
- 11. A shutter release device according to claim 10, wherein said engaging lever has a notch including an arc shaped portion and a mouth portion connected to said arc shape portion and extending substantially in a direction in which said linearly urging means urges said shutter operating member, said notch being fitted to said support pin.
- 12. A shutter release device according to claim 10, wherein said releasing means comprising means for rotatably urging said engaging lever in such a manner that said engaging lever is engaged with said shutter operating member.
- 13. A shutter release device according to claim 12, wherein said rotatably urging means is provided in such a manner that said engaging lever is not disengaged from said support pin.
- 14. A shutter release device according to claim 1, wherein said comprising means for measuring an object distance, said measuring means being operated by a movement of said release member.
- 15. A shutter release device according to claim 14, wherein said measuring means comprises a code plate including a distance measuring point and said release member is provided with a brush slidably movable on said code plate, whrereby said measuring means is operated to measure said object distance when said brush comes into contact with said distance measuring point.
- 16. The shutter release device for a camera according to claim 1, wherein downward movement of said release member charges said biasing means.
- 17. The shutter release device for a camera according to claim 1, wherein said release member comprises means movable relative to said delay member to effect charging of said biasing means.
- 18. A shutter release device for a camera, said shutter releasing device comprising;
- a release member mounted for movement from an initial position to operate a shutter of said camera;
- a delay member mounted for movement relative to said release member and operative to control mechanical release of the camera;
- means for preventing movement of said delay member during movement of said release member from said initial position and for enabling movement of said delay member upon movement of said release member by a predetermined distance; and
- biasing means connected to said delay member and said release member for urging said delay member to move, said biasing means comprising means whereby movement of said release member from said initial position by a stroke shorter than said predetermined value stores energy in said biasing means.
- 19. A shutter release device for a camera, said shutter release device comprising:
- a release member mounted for movement from an initial position to operate a shutter of said camera;
- a delay member mounted for movement relative to said release member;
- means for releasing a shutter of said camera, said releasing means being controlled by movement of said delay member;
- biasing means connected to said release member and to said delay member, for urging said delay member in a direction in which said delay member operates said releasing means, said biasing means comprising means whereby movement of said release member from said initial position by a stroke shorter than a predetermined value stores energy in said biasing means;
- means for preventing movement of said delay member until said release member is moved from the initial position by a stroke longer than said predetermined value; and
- means for releasing said movement preventing means when said release member is moved by a stroke longer than said predetermined value to enable movement of said delay member to operate said shutter releasing means.
