1. Field of the Invention
The invention relates to a sight, and in particular relates to a sight providing an adjusting dial capable of being directly driven by a user's finger for elevation and windage adjustments to correct the bullet impact point.
2. Description of the Related Art
Sights are usually utilized to increase accuracy of gun fires. In view of the bullet impact point to be influenced by gravity and wind, a conventional sight is generally equipped with a bullet impact correction mechanism to adjust elevation and windage, thereby maintaining accuracy of fire.
A flat head screw driver, however, is required to operate the conventional bullet impact correction mechanism. That is, the conventional bullet impact correction mechanism cannot be operated by user's finger. Therefore, the adjustments of the conventional sight are not convenient. Furthermore, carrying a flat head screw driver is an additional burden for the user.
In order to solve the above-described problems in conventional skills, the invention provides a sight with an adjusting dials which is capable of being operated by the flat head screw driver or directly operated by user's finger, for elevation and windage adjustments to correct the bullet impact point.
The sight in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the invention includes a body and an adjusting dial. The body has a surface and a depression disposed on the surface. The adjusting dial is disposed on the surface of the body. The depression extends from an edge of the body to the adjusting dial, facilitating the user to operate the adjusting dial with his finger.
Alternatively, the sight of the invention includes a body and an adjusting dial, in which the body has a surface, and the adjusting dial is disposed on the surface and protruded from an edge of the surface of the body, facilitating the user to operate the adjusting dial with his finger.
In another exemplary embodiment, the sight further includes a light source, an adjusting seat and an adjusting axle, wherein the light source is disposed on the adjusting seat, and the adjusting dial is configured to move the adjusting seat and the light source through the adjusting axle for elevation adjustments.
In yet another exemplary embodiment, the body further includes an opening, the adjusting axle passes through the opening of the body, and the opening of the body fits the adjusting axle in shape so that the adjusting axle can only be linearly moved but cannot be rotated.
In another exemplary embodiment, the sight further includes a screw nut, a pressure ring, a hollow screw, a fixing screw, a spring and a steel ball, wherein the screw nut is fixed in the body, the hollow screw includes internal threads to inwardly engage with the adjusting axle and external threads to outwardly engage with the screw nut and the adjusting dial, the pressure ring is fixed in the body to compress the hollow screw so that the hollow screw can only be rotated but cannot be linearly moved, the fixing screw is fixed to the adjusting dial, and the steel ball is compressed between the hollow screw and the screw nut via the spring.
In yet another exemplary embodiment, the sight further includes a light source, an adjusting seat and an adjusting axle, wherein the light source is disposed on the adjusting seat, and the adjusting dial is configured to move the adjusting seat and the light source through the adjusting axle for windage adjustments.

In another exemplary embodiment, the sight further includes a stop part, a spring and a convex axle, in which the stop part is fixed to the body, the convex axle is fixedly connected to the adjusting seat, the spring is outwardly sleeved on the convex axle and propped against between the stop part and the adjusting seat, and the adjusting seat is located between the spring and the adjusting axle.

In addition to user's finger, a flat head screw driver can be selectively utilized to operate the adjusting dials 122 and 132. Specifically, a flat head screw driver can be utilized to turn fixing screws 121 and 131 respectively disposed on the adjusting dials 122 and 132, thereby achieving the purpose of adjustments of elevation and windage.
In view of the bullet impact point to be influenced by gravity and wind, the light source 150 is configured to be movable for correcting a bullet impact offset and maintaining the accuracy of fire. A spring 1241 and a steel ball 1242 are disposed on the hollow screw 124, in which the steel ball 1242 is compressed between the hollow screw 124 and the screw nut 125 via the spring 1241. A perception and sound of click can be produced when the user rotates the adjusting dial 122 or the fixing screw 121.

In conclusion, with the configuration of the adjusting dials of the sight which are capable of being driven by the flat head screw driver or directly driven by the user's finger for elevation and windage adjustments, the invention surely can provide conveniences of usability and portability.
