Claims
- 1. A composition comprising two or more engineered zinc finger proteins, wherein each zinc finger protein comprises at least two zinc finger modules and further wherein the composition modulates expression of two or more endogenous genes.
- 2. The composition of claim 1, further comprising at least one functional domain.
- 3. The composition of claim 2, wherein the functional domain comprises an activation domain.
- 4. The composition of claim 2, wherein the functional domain comprises a repression domain.
- 5. The composition of claim 1, wherein the endogenous genes are involved in a metabolic pathway.
- 6. The composition of claim 1, wherein the endogenous genes are plant genes.
- 7. The composition of claim 6, wherein the endogenous genes are involved in tocopherol synthesis.
- 8. The composition of claim 1 further comprising linker molecules between the zinc finger proteins.
- 9. The composition of claim 1, wherein the composition modulates expression of three or more endogenous genes.
- 10. A nucleic acid molecule encoding the composition of claim 1.
- 11. A method of modulating the level of a product in a eukaryotic cell, comprising
contacting the eukaryotic cell with the composition of claim 5, under conditions such that expression of the endogenous genes involved in the metabolic pathway are modulated.
