Claims
- 1. A jacket shell comprising:
(a) body sections, arm sections, a yoke section, a waist section, and a collar section, all of a waterproof, windproof and breathable fabric; (b) said yoke section extending across a wearer's shoulders from arm to arm, and over said wearer's shoulders about said collar section; (c) a seam of stitching joining the contiguous edges of each pair of adjacent sections; (d) said body sections extending between said yoke section and said waist section, and having left and right front flies, which hide zippered pockets that extend substantially from said shoulder section to said waist section; (e) a pair of patches respectively stitched to said sleeve sections along seams that circumscribe said patches at the locations of the upper arms and forming a pair of pockets thereon; (f)strips of tape superposed on said seams at inner faces of said shell and sealing said seams; (g) a pair of zippers at relatively anterior positions on said patches, said zippers being adapted to open and close said pockets; and (h) at least an emblem sewn on at least one of said patches at a relatively posterior position thereon; (i) the widths of said patches and the widths of said yoke at said junctions being substantially the same.
- 2. A jacket shell comprising:
(a) a body, a pair of sleeves, a yoke, a waist, and a collar, all of a waterproof, windproof and moisture permeable material; (b) said yoke extending across a wearer's shoulders from sleeve to sleeve, and over said wearer's shoulders about said collar; (c) said body extending between said yoke and said waist; (d) at least a patch stitched to the upper portion of at least one of said sleeves along seams that surround said patch and form a pocket thereon; (f) strips of tape bonded to said seams, sealing said seams, and surrounding said patch; (g) a zipper relatively contiguous with an edge of said patch, said zipper being adapted to open and close said pocket; and (h) at least an emblem sewn on said patch at a position relatively remote from said edge of said patch.
- 3. A jacket shell comprising:
(a) a body, a pair of sleeves, a yoke, a waist, and a collar, all composed of a material that is resistant to inclement conditions; (b) said yoke section extending across a wearer's shoulders from arm to arm, and over said wearer's shoulders about said collar section; (c) said body extending between said yoke and said waist; (d) a pair of patches respectively stitched to said sleeves along seams that circumscribe said patches forming a pair of pockets thereon; (f)strips of tape superposed on said seams and sealing said seams to said inclement conditions; (g) a pair of zippers contiguous to selected edges of said patches, said zippers being adapted to open and close said pockets; (h) and at least an emblem sewn on at least one of said patches at a position relatively remote from at least one of said selected edges.
- 4. A jacket comprising a shell and a removable lining:
(A)said shell comprising
(a) a body, a pair of sleeves, a yoke, a waist, and a collar, all composed of a material that is resistant to inclement conditions; (b) said yoke section extending across a wearer's shoulders from arm to arm, and over said wearer's shoulders about said collar section; (c) said body extending between said yoke and said waist; (d) a pair of patches respectively stitched to said sleeves along seams that circumscribe said patches forming a pair of pockets thereon; (f) strips of tape superposed on said seams and sealing said seams to said inclement conditions; (g) a pair of zippers contiguous to selected edges of said patches, said zippers being adapted to open and close said pockets; (h) and at least an emblem sewn on at least one of said patches at a position relatively remote from at least of said selected edges; (B) said detachable lining comprising
(i)a bodice having a collar and a waist, said bodice descending from said collar to said waist, (j) a pair of opposed extended fasteners that detachably connect the sides of said bodice to interior edges of said shell, (k) and sleeves that are inserted into and that generally are coextensive with the sleeves of the shell.
- 5. A jacket shell comprising:
(a) a body, a pair of sleeves, a yoke, a waist, and a collar, all of a waterproof material, said yoke and said sleeves being connected at a pair of junctions; (b) said yoke extending across a wearer's shoulders from sleeve to sleeve, and over said wearer's shoulders about said collar; (c) said body extending between said yoke and said waist; (d) a pair of patches respectively stitched to upper portions of said sleeves along seams that surround said patches and form a pair of pockets thereon; (f) strips of tape superposed on said seams and sealing said seams; (g) a pair of descending zippers, each of said zippers being relatively contiguous with a descending edge of one of said patches, said zippers being adapted to open and close said pockets; (h) and at least an emblem sewn on at least one of said patches at a position relatively remote from said descending edge of said one of said patches. (i) the widths of said patches and the widths of said yoke at said junctions being substantially the same; (j)said yoke and said patches being of the same color to provide a design continuum.
