- 13. The sterilization wrap system of claim 9 wherein one of the sheets has a grab tensile strength greater than a grab tensile strength of the other sheet.
- 14. The sterilization wrap system of claim 9, further comprising a first zone and a second zone; and
- wherein there is a greater number of bond sites in one of the zones than in the other zone.
- 15. The sterilization wrap system of claim 9 wherein the meltblown layer of one of the sheets faces the meltblown layer of the other sheet.
- 16. A sterilization wrap system comprising:
- an inner wrap sheet and an outer wrap sheet joined to the inner wrap sheet such that the inner wrap sheet and the outer wrap sheet are visually distinguishable as separate sheets;
- wherein each said sheet is formed from a laminate comprising a spunbonded layer, a meltblown layer and a spunbonded layer; and
- wherein said sheets are joined together by a plurality of bond sites arranged to provide the visual distinction between said inner wrap sheet and said outer wrap sheet.
- 17. The sterilization wrap system of claim 16 wherein one of the sheets has a coloring which is different from a coloring of the other sheet.
- 18. The sterilization wrap system of claim 16 wherein at least one of the inner wrap sheet and the outer wrap sheet has a dry spore talc filtration efficiency of between about 0.8 to about 2.6 particles per one-thousand.
- 19. The sterilization wrap system of claim 16 wherein one of the sheets has a grab tensile strength greater than a grab tensile strength of the other sheet.
- 20. The sterilization wrap system of claim 16, further comprising a first zone and a second zone; and
- wherein there is a greater number of bond sites in one of the zones than in the other zone.
- 21. The sterilization wrap system of claim 16 wherein the inner wrap sheet and the outer wrap sheet each have a basis weight of between about 0.5 and about 3.5 ounces per square yard.
- 22. The sterilization wrap system of claim 16 wherein each sheet has at least one edge; each sheet is similarly sized; and at least one edge of one of the sheets aligns with and is not joined to at least one edge of the other sheet.
- 23. The sterilization wrap system of claim 22 wherein said edges which align and are not joined are generally parallel edges.
- 24. A sterilization wrap system comprising:
- an inner wrap sheet and an outer wrap sheet joined to the inner wrap sheet such that the inner wrap sheet and the outer wrap sheet are visually distinguishable as separate sheets;
- wherein each said sheet is formed from a laminate comprising a spunbonded layer, a meltblown layer and a spunbonded layer; and
- wherein each sheet has at least one edge; each sheet is similarly sized; at least one edge of one of the sheets aligns with and is not joined to at least one edge of the other sheet; and said aligned and not joined edges are generally parallel edges.
- 25. A sterilization wrap system comprising:
- a rectangular inner wrap sheet having a surface area and first and second pairs of parallel edges;
- a rectangular outer wrap sheet having a surface area and first and second pairs of parallel edges, said outer wrap sheet having substantially the same surface area as said inner wrap sheet so as to cause said first and second pairs of edges of said inner and outer wrap sheets to overlie one another;
- said outer wrap sheet being joined to said inner wrap sheet by first and second sets of bonding sites such that said inner wrap sheet and said outer wrap sheet are visually distinguishable as separate sheets; and
- wherein each sheet is a laminate comprising a spunbonded layer, a meltblown layer and a spunbonded layer; said spunbonded, meltblown and spunbonded layers of each sheet being respectively bonded together at third sets of bonding sites, visually distinct from said first and second sets of bonding sites and spanning across said surface areas of each sheet.
