Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a sleeve-finishing assist-tool for garments. More specifically, it relates to an assist-tool using for the sleeve-finishing work with the garment is set on the torso.

2. Description of the Related Art

The related art includes descriptions of this type of assist-tool for example, in the patent document 1 (Japanese Patent Publication No. Hei-09-294900) and in the patent document 2 (Japanese Patent Publication No. Hei-08-52300).

In the related art described in patent document 1, a pair of members is connected by a leaf spring, and the spring force from this leaf spring makes the pair of members jut outwards and stretch to the sleeve of the garment.

However, since the assist-tool of the related art is a structure for stretching the sleeve of the garment by way of the hard members, the sleeve is stretched in its current state, even in cases where the curve of the sleeve does not match the outer contours of the member.

Therefore, the assist-tool of the related art leaves marks from the members on the sleeve and consequently has the problem that the sleeve-finishing work cannot be neatly performed.

Also in the related art described in patent document 1, the assist-tool including the leaf spring tends to be heavy. Therefore, this assist-tool of the related art has the problems of tending to easily drop from the sleeve, and required considerable effort when insert or detach it to the sleeve.

Moreover, the assist-tool of the related art also has the problem for example that increasing the resilient force of the leaf spring in order to resolve the aforementioned problems tends to more easily left marks of the members on the sleeve, requiring a large force to close the members.

Also, the assist-tool of the related art described in patent document 2, applies the elasticity and suppleness of the pair of members to stretch the sleeve.

Therefore, in this assist-tool of the related art, since the members warp (bend) to fit the sleeve, the members make no marks on the sleeve, and the spring material can be eliminated, making the assist-tool lighter in weight by a corresponding amount and thus reducing the physical load on the worker.

Though the assist-tool of the related art in patent document 2 is able to resolve the problems with the related art in patent document 1 for the above reasons, the assist-tool of the related art in patent document 2 implements no means for the special characteristics of sleeve-lining stitching.

Namely, for an upper garment (a coat) such as a suit, the sleeve-lining often has sewing to neatly show off the silhouette of an outer-material of the coat, to allow the upper garment to slide on easily when passing the arm through the sleeve, or in order to boost the heat retention effect.

In that case, the rear side of the sleeve corresponding to the upper arm, has a large curve to allow easy arm movement, and in consideration of the curve when the arms naturally droop the front side is typically designed to sway more gently than the rear side.

Accordingly, a characteristic of sleeve is a large difference between the front and rear side curves at the position corresponding to the upper arms. There is therefore the lining at that location has a surplus so as not to pull the outer-material of the coat, and the lining is sewed together with the outer-material of different material with the same stitches.

The related art of patent document 2 gives no consideration to these types of special characteristics of sewing the sleeve-lining. Therefore, using this member inside the sleeve might cause the surplus of the upper arm lining to press up against the outer-material, forcefully stretching it.

Consequently, the related art of patent document 2 has the problem that the surplus of the upper arm lining tends to easily form wrinkles appearing in the outer-material making it impossible to neatly perform the finishing of the sleeve.

The present invention is therefore proposed in view of the problems with the aforementioned problems of the related art.

The present invention therefore has the object of resolving the technical problems of the related art by providing a garment sleeve-finishing assist-tool that does the finishing of the sleeve by elastic deformation to provide a sleeve offering a good fit, and stretch the sleeve without any marks of the rod, and is not only light in weight but also able to prevent pulling forcefully on the position on the lining corresponding to the upper arm so that the surplus of the lining at that position does not cause any adverse effects on the finishing of the sleeve.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention as shown in FIG. 1, etc., is a garment sleeve-finishing assist-tool for using to stretch the sleeve 1a of the garments 1 to an outer side by the use of a springiness and a suppleness of a pair of left and right rod-parts 2 and a springiness of a fulcrum-part 3 at the location linked to the rod-parts 2 that insert it into a sleeve 1a of the garments 1; and in which at least the position near one of the fulcrum part 3 of the rod-parts 2 is formed in a concave point 11 bent to the inner side.

Any size, depth or shape may be used for the concave point 11 if that the concave point 11 is formed in a concave-shape bent to the inner side of the rod-parts 2.

Then, in the present invention, the concave point 11 is may be make at the left and right of the rod-parts 2.

Also, in the present invention as shown in FIG. 1, a stopper section 12 is preferably provided at the open-ends 2a side of the pair of left and right rod-parts 2 to prevent heat vapor supplied to the sleeve 1a of the garment 1 from flowing outward from the sleeve-openings.

The stopper section 12 can prevent heat vapor from flowing outward from the sleeve-openings for the sleeve 1a can inflate efficiently by heat energy of heat vapor and can be stretched-finishing. The stopper section 12 can fix an open-space of the pair of left and right rod-parts 2, so that matching the size or width of the sleeve 1a become easier, and the insertion of the sleeve 1a can be accomplished easily.

The heat vapor referred to here is heated air or steam.

Also, in the present invention, the stopper section 12 is preferably formed in a bag-shape, with the bag-opening facing toward the fulcrum-part 3 side.

Any shape or structure may be used for the stopper section 12 if that shape or structure is capable of preventing the outward flow of heat vapor.

The stopper section 12 is formed described above, inflated the stopper section 12 press to the sleeve 1a and can be prevent the heat vapor from flowing outward from the gap between the stopper section 12 and an inner surface of the sleeve 1a.

Accordingly, this arrangement also offers the advantages that loss of heat energy from heat vapor can be more fully prevented and the sleeve can be inflated for finishing.

In the present invention, the stopper section 12 is preferably freely insertable and detachable from the rod-parts 2.

In the stopper section 12 arrangement, the replacement with the stopper sections having different widths is capable of changing the open-space to an easy-to-use space for the rod parts at a low cost and easily. Furthermore, it is possible to prevent heat vapor flowing outward surely by selecting a correspondent stopper section 12 matching a design of the sleeve 1a.

The present invention has the above arrangement, so it can therefore elastic deformation to provide a sleeve of the garment offering a good fit and along with the springiness of the fulcrum-part can be stretch the sleeve to the outer sides.

Therefore, the present invention is not any mark of the rod-parts on the sleeve. In the present invention easily inserts and detaches from the sleeve and can be made light in weight since the spring for widening or contracting the rod-parts can be eliminated.

In the present invention, at least the position near one of the fulcrum-part of the rod-parts is formed in the concave point bent to the inner side.

The present invention allows the lining at a position corresponding to the upper arms to escape to the concave point when stretching the sleeve of the garment for finishing so there is no forcefully stretching of the upper arm section. Therefore, the sleeve can be neatly finished and prevent a surplus of the lining for the upper arms causing wrinkles on the outer-material.

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERABLE EMBODIMENT

Referring to the accompanying drawings, one preferred embodiment of the present invention will be describe as follows:

The present invention as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, etc., a garment sleeve-finishing assist-tool for using to stretch the sleeve 1a of the garment 1 to the outer side by the use of a springiness and a suppleness of a pair of left and right rod-parts 2 and a springiness of a fulcrum-part 3 at the location linked to the rod-parts 2 that insert into a sleeve 1a; and in which at least the position near one of the fulcrum-part 3 of the rod-parts 2 is formed in a concave point 11 bent to the inner side.

The rod-parts 2 and the fulcrum-part 3, as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, etc., contain a thinner band-plate 4 having a springiness and a suppleness, a cushion-material 5 overlaying on the outer surface of the band-plate 4, and a cover 6 such as an airy-cloth or the like, and are formed that the cover 6 covered on the band-plate 4 and cushion-material 5.

The rod-part 2 has a slip-preventer 8 (refer to FIG. 2, and FIG. 4, etc.) on an outer surface of the cover 6 to prevent drop out by not only a recoverable force of the rod-part 2 moreover a friction between a lining 7 of the sleeve.

A number 9 (refer to FIG. 1 or FIG. 2, etc.) indicates a lining-cloth to prevent any damage on an inner surface of the cover 6 when hung the present invention product in storage state.

The band-plate 4 is formed for example a stainless-material or an aluminum-material. Any width and thin may be used for the band-plate 4, but the band-plate 4 is preferred made from a light plate-material can be prevent drop out for own weight or pull the sleeve 1a downward if the present invention inserts in the sleeve 1a, and can insert and detach to the sleeve 1a easily.

The cushion-material 5 is used such material as felt or urethane or the like. The present invention is not leave any mark of the rod-parts 2 on the sleeve 1a by a suppleness of the rod-parts 2 and a cushioning properties of the cushion material 5.

The cover 6 is formed a thin tube-like, and is fixed at the open-ends 2a, 2a of the rod-parts 2, 2 by hook and loop fastener pairs 10, 10. The cover 6 described above, made from an airy flat-material. Accordingly, the finishing of the sleeve 1a can be make cleanly for supply to heated air or steam even if a contact face of the sleeve 1a to the rod-parts 2 as same as a non-contact face.

The fulcrum-part 3 connecting the rod-parts 2 is formed bent into a ring-shape.

The rod-part 2 corresponding to the rear side of sleeve 1a is formed in a curve-shape for matching to a curve of the rear side of sleeve 1a, and is connected to the fulcrum-part 3 into a roughly hook-shape.

The rod-part 2 corresponding to the front side of sleeve 1a is bent to the inner side for forming the concave point 11 at the position near the fulcrum-part 3. The concave point 11 connecting the fulcrum-part 3 is formed in a concave-shape to inner side, and is connected to the rod-part 2 bending in a curve-shape to outer side.

The present invention as shown in the FIG. 1, etc., is provided the stopper section 12 at the open-ends 2a side of the pair of left and right rod-parts 2 for prevent heat vapor supplied to the sleeve 1a of the garment 1 from flowing outward from the sleeve-openings. The stopper section 12 is connected to the rod-parts 2 and a width of the stopper section 12 is decided to the open-space of the rod-parts 2.

The heat vapor referred to here is heated air or steam.

Further, the stopper section 12 is formed in a bag-shape in this embodiment, with the bag-opening facing toward the fulcrum-part 3 side. The stopper section 12 as shown in FIG. 3 in this embodiment, is provided freely insertable and detachable from the rod-parts 2 by hook and loop fastener pairs 13.

It is described that the operation of the present invention as follows:

First, the worker (operator) holds the rod-parts 2 by the open-ends 2a side, as shown in FIG. 10, and inserts the present invention product in the sleeve 1a from the sleeve-openings of the garments 1.

In the case of the present invention product, described above, the fulcrum-part 3 is formed bent into a ring-shape, and linking the rod-parts 2 and the fulcrum-part 3 to form a roughly U-shape. Therefore, the fulcrum-part 3 can be positioned at a sloping angle facing upwards by the worker gripping and closing the open-ends side 2a of the rod-parts 2 from above or below.

Therefore, the worker can easily insert the present invention product in the sleeve 1a by rotating the arms upward in an upright position and pressing upward without having to bend down. In that state, detach the present invention product from the sleeve 1a easily by pull it down.

Accordingly, the physical load on the worker can therefore be reduced when the work of insertion or detach in the present invention product to sleeve 1a.

After insert the present invention product in the sleeve 1a, the worker removes the hand from the open-ends 2a side of the rod-parts 2, and then the figure of the rod-parts 2 is recovered and the sleeve 1a is stretched. In the case, a pair of the rod-parts 2 is bent in a curve-shape for outer sides of each, and matching to a curve of the sleeve 1a, so the sleeve 1a is stretched by the springiness and suppleness of the rod-parts 2. According to in above state, it keeps an outline of the sleeve 1a in shape.

In above state, a surplus of the lining 7 of the sleeve 1a to escape to the concave point 11 after the figure of rod-parts 2 is recovered in the sleeve 1a. Therefore, the sleeve 1a can be stretch without forcefully stretching of the lining 7, and the sleeve 1a can be neatly finished without the wrinkles caused by the surplus of the lining 7 on the outer-material.

The present invention product is not use a spring on the rod-parts 2 as the assist-tool of the related art, so can be lighter in weight. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent drop it from the sleeve 1a by own weight, and keep the sleeve 1a of the garment in shape.

After the present invention product set in the sleeve 1a, supply the heated air or steam as the heated air to the torso from the end of the torso. Then, the stopper section 12 is inflated since the stopper section 12 receives the heated air which flow into the sleeve 1a from a shoulder side of the torso, and pressing against the inner surface of the sleeve 1a.

Consequently, the wrinkle is removed after stretch the sleeve 1a when the heated air fully in the sleeve 1a.

After the determined time, the supply of the heat vapor is stopped. In above state, the worker holds the end part 2a of the rod-parts 2 protruding from the sleeve-opening and pulls the present invention product down from the sleeve 1a. The finishing work of the sleeve 1a has now been finished.

In described above, the concave point 11 is not only formed one side of the rod-part 2, may be provide at both sides of the rod-part 2 for example back-on-back. In that state, the adverse effects of the surplus of the lining may be more reduce on the outer-material.

In the present invention, the stopper section 12 is not only formed in a bag-shape. Any shape or structure may be used for the stopper section 12 if that shape or structure is capable of preventing heat vapor from flowing outward from the sleeve-openings.

The stopper section 12 is freely insertable and detachable from the rod-parts 2, but it is not limited above structure, it allows the stopper section 12 fixed on the rob section 2.
