This application claims priority to Taiwanese Invention Patent Application No. 111110579, filed on Mar. 22, 2022.
This disclosure relates to a slide stop lever, and more particularly to a slide stop lever applied to a pistol.
Glock 43 pistol is a common small gun, and the parts can be disassembled or replaced by the user according to needs. However, if a magazine of another common SIG P 365 pistol is applied to a Glock 43 pistol, an issue that the slide stop lever of the Glock 43 pistol and the magazine of the SIG P 365 pistol cannot match may be generated. Further, the slide stop lever of Glock 43 pistol cannot simultaneously match the SIG P365 magazine and the slide of Glock 43.
Therefore, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a slide stop lever of Glock 43 pistol that can simultaneously match the SIG P365 magazine and the slide of Glock 43.
According to the disclosure, a slide stop lever adapted for application to a gun. The gun includes a gun body that has an internal space, a Glock 43 series slide that is slidable in a front-rear direction and that is disposed on a top portion of said gun body, and a SIG P365 magazine that is inserted into the internal space of the gun body from a bottom portion of the gun body. The gun body has an accommodating groove located at the top portion and communicated with the internal space. The Glock 43 series slide has a latching groove at a bottom portion thereof. The SIG P365 magazine includes a magazine body having a bullet space, and a follower disposed in the bullet space, being upwardly and downwardly slidable, and having a pushing part.
The slide stop lever is adapted to be disposed in the internal space of the gun body, and has a pivoting section adapted to be pivoted to the gun body, and a latching section extending rearwardly from the pivoting section. The latching section has a rod portion extending rearwardly from the pivoting section, a latching portion protruding from the rod portion, and a pushed portion protruding from the rod portion and located lower than a top of the rod portion.
Pivoting of the pivoting section drives the latching section to swing up and down relative to the gun body between an initial position and an abutment position that is higher than the initial position.
When the latching section is in the initial position, the latching portion is adapted to be received in the accommodating groove of the gun body.
The pushed portion is adapted to be pushed upwardly by the pushing part when the follower of the SIG P365 magazine slides upwardly, thereby moving the latching section upwardly from the initial position to the abutment position. When the latching section is in the abutment position, the latching portion is adapted to be received in the latching groove of the Glock 43 series slide to prevent the Glock 43 series slide from sliding forwardly.
Other features and advantages of the disclosure will become apparent in the following detailed description of the embodiment(s) with reference to the accompanying drawings. It is noted that various features may not be drawn to scale.
Before the disclosure is described in greater detail, it should be noted that where considered appropriate, reference numerals or terminal portions of reference numerals have been repeated among the figures to indicate corresponding or analogous elements, which may optionally have similar characteristics.
It should be noted herein that for clarity of description, spatially relative terms such as “top,” “bottom,” “upper,” “lower,” “on,” “above,” “over,” “downwardly,” “upwardly” and the like may be used throughout the disclosure while making reference to the features as illustrated in the drawings. The features may be oriented differently (e.g., rotated 90 degrees or at other orientations) and the spatially relative terms used herein may be interpreted accordingly.

The gun body 1 has a barrel receiving section 11 that extends in a front-rear direction, a grip section 12 that extends downward from a rear portion of the barrel receiving section 11, an internal space 13 that is formed in the barrel receiving section 11 and the grip section 12, and an accommodating groove 14 that is formed downwardly at a top side of the barrel receiving section 11 and that is communicated with the internal space 13. The barrel 2 is disposed at a front end of the barrel receiving section 11.
The Glock 43 series slide 3 is disposed on a top portion of the barrel receiving section 11 of the gun body 1, and is forwardly and rearwardly movable. During the firing of a bullet 200, the Glock 43 series slide 3 is pushed rearward by a rear force generated by the firing. Specifically, a first resilient member (not shown) is connected between the Glock 43 series slide 3 and the gun body 1. The first resilient member is used for forwardly restoring the Glock 43 series slide 3 relative to the gun body 1 to allow a next bullet 200 to be loaded. The Glock 43 series slide 3 has a latching groove 31 disposed at a bottom side thereof and corresponding to the accommodating groove 14.
The SIG P365 magazine 4 is inserted into an internal space 13 of the gun body 1 from a bottom portion of the grip section 12 of the gun body 1. It should be noted herein that, the gun body 1 may be exemplified as a Glock 43 series gun body, with the shape of the grip section 12 being modified to fit with the SIG P365 magazine 4. The SIG P365 magazine 4 includes a magazine body 41 having a bullet space 411, a follower 42 disposed in the bullet space 411, being upwardly and downwardly movable, and having a pushing part 421, and a second resilient member 43 connected between the magazine body 41 and the follower 42. The second resilient member 43 is used for returning the follower 42 upwardly to push the bullet 200 inside the bullet space 411.
The slide stop lever 5 is disposed in the internal space 13 of the gun body 1. The slide stop lever 5 has a pivoting section 51 pivoted to the barrel receiving section 11 of the gun body 1 about a pivot pole (not shown), a latching section 52 extending rearwardly from the pivoting section 51, and a mounting section 53 extending forwardly from the pivoting section 51 and mounted with a third resilient member 54. The third resilient member 54 is used to abut downwardly against an abutment structure (not shown) in the internal space 13 of the gun body 1 for driving the latching section 52 to swing downwardly. The latching section 52 has a rod portion 521 extending rearwardly from the pivoting section 51, a latching portion 522 protruding outwardly from the rod portion 521, an operating portion 523 disposed at an end of the latching portion 522 and extending downwardly, and a pushed portion 524 protruding inwardly from the rod portion 521 and located lower than a top of the rod portion 521. To further be specific, in this embodiment, the rod portion 521 of the latching section 52 of the slide stop lever 5 is plate-shaped, and has a top end 521a and a bottom end 521b. The pushed portion 524 is formed integrally with the bottom end 521b of the rod portion 521. However, it should be noted that, in other embodiments, the rod portion 521 may be other structures other than a plate-shaped structure, such as a columnar structure. The pushed portion 524 may also be non-integrally formed with the rod portion 521 at any position lower than the top of the rod portion 521 and is not limited to this embodiment.

In summary, the pushed portion 524 of the slide stop lever 5 of this invention is located lower than the top of the rod portion 521 to be pushed by the pushing part 421 of the SIG P365 magazine 4, so as to match the SIG P365 magazine 4 to each other. Further specifically, the slide stop lever 5 of this invention can simultaneously match the SIG P365 magazine 4 and the Glock 43 series slide 3.
