The present invention provides a novel method of a medicine ball allowing users to adjust the weight of the ball using a weight band system to their desired level.


The invention shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 shows a ball-shaped frame with or without handles that can be made of heavy material, such as rubber, plastic, leather and any similar materials. The primary weight frame is constructed as a one-piece unit. The central notch allows users to attach and detach various sized weight bands. The attachments as shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, are fitted within the primary base of the notch leaving no gaps and a tightly secured device as seen in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4.



FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 are showing the primary medicine ball with the outer attachments in their nested orientation such that the right and left weight attachment are nesting within each other maintains the center of gravity in a fixed location. As a feature of the present invention, the attachments are color coded so that the user can easily see what attachments are being used with the exercise device.



FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 are showing the weighted band system that is both detachable from the ball and from one another for easy storage. The removable weight bands are made of a durable and flexible material that is easy to attach and detach from the ball. The bands use a secure locking mechanism to ensure the ball can with withstand heavy exercise.

A SmartSphere Adjustable Medicine Ball comprising: a spherical body with a seamless exterior surface,textured ball with or without handles positioned on opposite sides of the spherical body for improved grip and control during exercise,an adjustable weight mechanism integrated on the spherical body, allowing users to modify the weight of the ball,a locking mechanism to securely hold the desired weight in place,the ability to add or remove weight bands to adjust the overall weight of the ball,symmetrical shape to ensure balanced weight distribution,ergonomic design to provide comfort and prevent slippage during exercise.
  • 2. The SmartSphere Adjustable Medicine Ball of claim 1, wherein the weight bands are securely attached to the structure of the spherical body using a reliable fastening system fitted into the central notch of the ball.

A method of adjusting the weight of a medicine ball, comprising: providing a SmartSphere Adjustable Medicine Ball with an adjustable weight mechanism,unlocking the locking mechanism,adding or removing weight bands according to the desired weight,securely locking the locking mechanism to hold the adjusted weight in place.
  • 10. The method of claim 9, wherein the weight adjustment can be made quickly and easily without requiring additional tools or equipment.
  • 11. The method of claim 9, wherein the adjusted weight remains stable and secure during exercise, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience.
