BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Field of Invention
The present disclosure generally relates to smoking apparatus, and more particularly to a smoking apparatus equipped with an access port opening for easy cleaning and a removable mouth insert for a shareable experience.
Description of Related Art
There are varieties of ways of consuming smokable substances or products like tobacco and cannabis. Tobacco and cannabis products can be smoked using cigars, rolling papers, smoking devices made from household items, hookahs, bongs, dab rigs, bubblers, or by using a pipe. Although rolling papers are inexpensive and easy to dispose, they, however, alter the quality of the smokable products. Also, the process of rolling the paper into a cigarette can be time-consuming and difficult to achieve.
Cigars are also relatively cheap and easily disposable; however, the process of taking out the original product from the cigar and replacing it with a new one can be time-consuming and is also difficult to achieve.
Household items such as gravity bongs made with plastic bottles are quite easy to obtain. However, they can be very messy, time-consuming to produce, and with a short life span.
Pipes, bongs, dab rigs, and bubblers are a very good choice for smoking smokable substances. They can be reused, easily disposed, and have the ability to retain the quality of the product being smoked. The problem with conventional pipes, bongs, dab rigs, and bubblers is that due to the product material from which they are made, they are quite expensive and easily get blocked with smoke residue such as tar buildup. They do not have any direct or accessible openings for cleaning. Technically, existing devices are cleaned by pouring in a cleaning solution through the mouthpiece hole.
US patent No. US20090288670A1 issued to Kevin Tak Lee and Zeaad Handoush, discloses a smoking pipe equipped with an edible smoking material. The shortcoming of this invention is that it is hard to clean. The only option available is to add a solution, and shake it or let the solution dissolve away the tar buildup/residue.
U.S. Pat. No. 4,252,135 issued to John Herman, discloses a smoking pipe with a rectangular metal bowl and means for storing a quantity of smoking material. Due to the complex design of this invention, it is expensive to produce and to obtain.
Due to the overwhelming shortcomings of existing prior art, including the inventions mentioned above, there is a desirable need for an improved smoking apparatus, which eliminates the problems associated with those existing inventions.
The present invention provides an effective and easy solution to these shortcomings.
SUMMARY
The following summary provides an understanding of the features and functions of the present invention. One can get a full understanding of the invention by considering the whole specification, claims, drawings, and as well as the abstract.
The major objective of the present invention is to provide improved versions/embodiments of a smoking apparatus that is easy to clean, thereby reducing excessive smoke residue buildup, shareable between users, and efficient in smoking smokable products.
In the present invention, a smoking apparatus with an access port opening for cleaning is disclosed. The access opening may be in different sizes and shapes and may be located on the side or at the bottom of the device. The smoking apparatus may come in different embodiments or forms, namely: smoking pipes, bongs, dab rigs, and bubblers. Further, the access port opening doesn't only allow easy cleaning, but also saves time when cleaning up the inside of residue buildup. Conventional smoking devices take longer amounts of time to clean, and unlike the present invention, cannot be effectively cleaned of dirt or smoke residue.
The present invention also comprises a silicone seal used to cover the access port opening to the smoking device, while maintaining suction.
The silicone seal in the invention withholds high heat and seals tightly to the device; hence, facilitating the suction needed to inhale the substance. Further, the seal may come in different sizes or shapes depending on the access opening in the apparatus.
In one embodiment, the present invention, a smoking pipe, further comprises a removable mouthpiece insert used to cover the original device mouthpiece. Hence, allowing a shareable smoking experience whereby a user does not directly use his/her mouth on the same device as someone else. The removable mouthpiece insert may be made of silicone or any other similar material capable of fitting tightly to the pipe's mouthpiece during suction. Once the insert is fitted to the device mouthpiece, the user inhales by making a sucking motion on the removable insert.
In another embodiment, the present invention comprises a removable mouthpiece ring used to cover the original device mouthpiece. Hence, allowing a shareable smoking experience whereby a user does not directly use his/her mouth on the same device as someone else. The removable mouthpiece ring is designed for the smoking bongs, dab rigs, bubblers, and other similar smoking devices. The mouth ring, which may be made of silicone or any other suitable material, fits tightly to the mouthpiece of the bong, dab rig, or bubbler during suction. Once the ring is fitted to the device mouthpiece, the user inhales by making a sucking motion on the removable mouthpiece ring.
