Claims
- 1. A plurality of stacked plastic film bags, each of said bags comprising:
- a front wall and a back wall joined together and defining a bag cavity therebetween;
- an opening between the front and back walls leading to the bag cavity;
- complementary separable zipper profiles on said front and back walls at the opening for selectively opening and closing the bag;
- a lip attached to the front wall above the zipper profiles;
- a header portion attached to the back wall above the zipper profiles;
- a perforation on the header portion above said zipper profiles; and,
- wherein the strength of said perforation is greater than the strength of said zipper profiles such that pulling on said lip first causes said zipper profiles to separate and thereafter causes said bag to be separated from its header.
- 2. The plurality of stacked plastic film bags of claim 1 wherein said stacked bags are attached to one another at a part on each header portion above each respective perforation.
- 3. The plurality of stacked plastic film bags of claim 1 wherein said perforation is a score line along said header portion.
- 4. The plurality of stacked plastic film bags of claim 3 wherein said score line includes two ends extending to edges on said header portion, said score line ends being severed.
- 5. A plurality of stacked plastic film bags each of said bags comprising:
- a front wall and a back wall joined together and defining a bag cavity therebetween;
- an opening between the front and back walls leading to the bag cavity;
- zipper means at said opening for selectively opening and closing the bag;
- a header portion attached to the bag; and,
- separating means between said header portion and said bag for separating the bag from the header; and,
- wherein the strength of said separation means is greater than the strength of said zipper means such that pulling on said zipper means causes the bag to first be opened and thereafter causes said bags to be separated from its header.
- 6. The plurality of stacked plastic film bags of claim 5 wherein said bags are attached to one another at a part of said header portion.
- 7. The plurality of stacked plastic film bags of claim 5 wherein said separating means is a score line along said header portion.
- 8. The plurality of stacked plastic film bags of claim 7 wherein said score line includes two ends extending to edges on said header portion, said score line ends being severed.
- 9. The plurality of stacked plastic film bags of claim 5 wherein said header portion is attached to said back wall above said zipper means.
- 10. The plurality of stacked plastic film bags of claim 5 further including a lip on said front wall above said zipper means.
