The disclosure and prior art relates to necktie devices and more particularly pertains to a new necktie device for facilitating a necktie to be worn and taken off without having to tie and untie a knot.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a necktie that has a front apron, a knot and a pair of straps. The front apron extends downwardly along a user's chest and the knot is positioned below the user's neck when the necktie is worn. Each of the straps is extended around opposite sides of the user's neck when the necktie is worn. A first belt is worn around the user's neck and the first belt releasably engages a selected one of the straps. A second belt is worn around the user's neck and the second belt is slidably coupled to the first belt. The second belt releasably engages a selected one of the straps. In this way each of the first belt and the second belt are retained around the user's neck when the necktie is worn.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.

The necktie 12 includes a pair of straps 26 and each of the straps 26 extends away from the top side 18 of the knot 16. The straps 26 are spaced apart from each other and each of the straps 26 has a distal end 28 with respect to the knot 16. Each of the straps 26 angles outwardly from a vertical center line of the knot 16. Moreover, each of the straps 26 extends around opposite sides of the user's neck 24 when the necktie 12 is worn. A pair of first fasteners 30 is provided and each of the first fasteners 30 is coupled to an associated one of the straps 26. Each of the first fasteners 30 is positioned closer to the distal end 28 of the associated strap than the knot 16. Each of the first fasteners 30 may comprise a snap or other mechanical fastener.
A first belt 32 is provided and the first belt 32 is worn around the user's neck 24 when the necktie 12 is worn. The first belt 32 has a first end 34 and a second end 36, the second end 36 is open and the first belt 32 is substantially hollow. The first belt 32 has an elastic portion 38 such that the first belt 32 is stretchable to a selected length to accommodate a variety of neck sizes. The elastic portion 38 may be centrally positioned between the first end 34 and the second end 36.
A second fastener 40 is provided and the second fastener 40 is coupled to the first belt 32. The second fastener 40 is positioned closer to the first end 34 than the second end 36. The second fastener 40 releasably engages the first fastener 30 on a selected one of the straps 26. Additionally, the second fastener 40 may be a snap or other mechanical fastener.
A second belt 42 is provided and the second belt 42 is worn around the user's neck 24 when the necktie 12 is worn. The second belt 42 has a primary end 44 and a secondary end 46. The second end 36 of the first belt 32 insertably receives the primary end 44 of the second belt 42 such that the second belt 42 is slidably coupled to the first belt 32. A stop 48 is coupled to the primary end 44 of the second belt 42 such that the stop 48 is positioned within the first belt 32. The stop 48 has a height that is greater than a height of the second end 36. In this way the stop 48 inhibits the second belt 42 from being removed from the first belt 32.
A third fastener 50 is provided and the third fastener 50 is coupled to the second belt 42. The third fastener 50 is positioned closer to the secondary end 46 than the primary end 44. The third fastener 50 releasably engages the first fastener 30 on a selected one of the straps 26. Thus, the first belt 32 and the second belt 42 are retained around the user's neck 24 when the necktie 12 is worn. Each of the necktie 12, the first belt 32 and the second belt 42 may be manufactured in a variety of colors and patterns.
In use, each of the first belt 32 and the second belt 42 are positioned around the user's neck 24. The second fastener 40 is coupled to the first fastener 30 on a selected strap 26 and the third fastener 50 is coupled to the first fastener 30 on a selected strap 26. In this way the knot 16 and the front apron 14 are worn in the convention of neckties. Each of the necktie 12, first belt 32 and second belt 42 facilitate the necktie 12 to be worn without having to tie the knot thereby saving time while getting dressed. Additionally, the necktie 12, the first belt 32 and the second belt 42 facilitate a consistent appearance of the knot 16 and front apron 14 with respect to manually tying the knot 16 and adjusting a length of the front apron 14. Each of the first belt 32 and the second belt 42 are adjusted to comfortably extend around the user's neck 24. Each of the first belt 32 and the second belt 42 are uncoupled from the straps 26 to remove the necktie 12.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
