There are many articles of clothing that are specifically configured for use in the snow. One activity that is very common is the activity of sledding. However, if one wants to sled and does not readily have a sled, what often happens is the outer clothing is either significantly moistened by the snow or sometimes damaged during the sledding activity. The present invention provides an article of clothing specifically configured with members to facilitate sledding without a sled.
In one embodiment the present invention is a pair of snow pants with incorporated sliding members, said snow pants comprising: a pair of pants; at least one slider member constructed and arranged for attachment to said pants.
The pants can be existing snow pants that are modified to provide for permanent or releasable attachment of the slider members described herein, or, in one embodiment, the snow pants are constructed and arranged in a manufacturing process for use with the present invention.
In one embodiment, the slider member or members is/are permanently attached to said pants.

There are many clothing articles developed and available for use in the snow. However, many persons that enjoy the sledding activity are very aware that a sled is required in order to enjoy the activity. Pants system 10 includes main pants body 12 and one or more buttocks snow slider 14 secured to pants 12, one or more thigh snow slider 16 are attached to main pants 12, and one or two knee snow slider 18 are attached to pants 12. In one embodiment, slider includes an insulator 20 positioned between slider 16 and pants 12. Insulator 20 provides moisture and temperature insulation for the wearer of pants 12. Although only thigh slider 16 is demonstrated in the figure as being used with insulator 20, any one of buttocks slider 14, thigh slider 16, or knee slider 18 is contemplated for use with insulator 20. It is contemplated that any one or all of the demonstrated slider attachments shown in the figures be used in a particular embodiment of the present invention. Additionally, other slider units, such as on the side of pants 12, on the shin area of pants 12, and other areas are contemplated as being part of the present invention.
In use, a user will select a particular pants 12. In one embodiment, pants 12 comes with sliders permanently attached. User will put on the pants and slide on snow utilizing the desired and configured slider. In another embodiment, user will put on pants 12, affix the desired sliders thereto, and proceed to slide on snow utilizing the sliders.
