Snowboarding has become an increasingly popular outdoor activity that is shared around the world. It is comprised of an individual wearing snowboard boots that are specifically designed for the activity, and to be inserted into snowboard bindings. Therefore attaching the individual to a snow board. The said snow board is what moves the individual upon the snow, typically down hill. The individual rides on the snow board with either the individual's left foot or right foot forward as their downhill/front foot. Left or right foot forward is the said individual's preference. When the individual rides the chairlift up the mountain, the back foot is typically unattached from the back binding, with only the front foot remaining attached to the binding and snowboard. This places all the stress of the snowboard onto the individual's front foot, ankle, knee, and leg. Many individuals on this said chairlift, position the lose end of the snow board on top of the individual's unattached back foot. This relieves the stress of the front attached foot, and balances some of the stress to the back unattached foot. When in this position, the sharp edge of the snowboard will damage the top toe area and the laces of the back snowboard boot. This occurs frequently, and is one of the leading causes to purchase new laces and even new snowboard boots.
The proposed article protects the top/front face of the said back snow board boot. The article covers the top/front area of the snow board boot, so that the sharp edge of the snowboard boot will no longer connect with the snow board boot, and cause damage to the boot or laces.
The article will attach to the forward face/front of an individual's back snow board boot when an individual is snowboarding to protect the boot and laces from damage. The said damage typically occurs while said back snowboard boot is unattached from snow board. The Snow board Boot Guard will therefore protect the said boot, and extend the life of the boot and laces.

The article can be detached easily from the boot. This article will be utilized by individuals who use a snowboard, and will be used when the boot is on the individual riding the snow board. This article is semi-flexible, and does not provide structural support. It operates separately from the snow board boot, though is designed to fit the contour of the forward face/top of the boot. It will utilize one attachment that will tighten and hold the article to the boot. The attachment will wrap around the back of the ankle area of the boot. The article will extend from the front of the ankle area to the toe area, extending from the inner side of the boot to the outer side. When attached to the boot securely, it will remain on the boot while the individual places the boot 45 into the snow board bindings. It will fit with all snowboard binding systems.
