FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a soccer game assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 2 is a top view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 3 is a right side cut away view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 4 thereof, a new game device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 4, the soccer game assembly 10 generally comprises a box 12 that has a basal wall 14 and a peripheral wall 16 extending upwardly from the basal wall 14. The peripheral wall 16 has a first lateral side 18, a second lateral side 20, a front side 22 and a back side 24. The peripheral wall 16 has an inner surface 26 and the basal wall 14 has a top surface 28. The box 12 may have a length ranging between approximately sixty cm and seventy five cm. The box 12 may have a width ranging between approximately thirty cm and forty cm.

The top surface 28 has indicia 30 printed thereon. The indicia 30 comprises a line 32 that is oriented parallel to the front side 22 and the back side 24. The line 32 extends between the first lateral side 18 and the second lateral side 20. The line 32 bisects the basal wall 14 into a first half 34 and a second half 36. The indicia 30 further include a circle 38. The circle 38 is centrally positioned on the basal wall 14 such that the line 32 bisects the circle 38.

A first goal 40 is coupled to the peripheral wall 16 and the first goal 40 is positioned on the inner surface 26 corresponding to the front side 22. A second goal 42 is coupled to the peripheral wall 16 and the second goal 42 is positioned on the inner surface 26 corresponding to the back side 24. Each of the first goal 40 and the second goal 42 may comprise a central section 44 extending between a pair of upright sections 46. The upright sections 46 may be spaced apart from each other. The upright sections 46 may extend upwardly from the basal wall 14 such that the central section 44 is spaced from the basal wall 14. Thus, each of the first goal 40 and the second goal 42 may have an ornamental appearance of a soccer goal.

A ball 48 is provided. The ball 48 is positionable on the basal wall 14. The ball 48 may roll freely along the top surface 28 of the basal wall 14. The ball 48 may have an ornamental appearance of a soccer ball.

A plurality of figures 50 is provided. Each of the figures 50 is movably coupled to the basal wall 14 and each of the figures 50 may be manipulated. The figures 50 are spaced apart from each other and are distributed on the basal wall 14. Each of the figures 50 selectively strikes the ball 48. Thus, the ball 48 is selectively urged toward a selected one of the first goal 40 and the second goal 42.

Each of the figures 50 comprises a stem 52 that has a first end 54 and a second end 56. The stem 52 is elongated between the first end 54 and the second end 56. A biasing member 58 is coupled between the second end 56 and the top surface 28 of the basal wall 14. The biasing member 58 biases the stem 52 to be vertically oriented with respect to the basal wall 14. The biasing member 58 selectively urges the stem 52 to oscillate in a selected direction when the stem 52 is manipulated. Thus, the stem 52 strikes the ball 48 thereby facilitating the ball 48 to be urged in the selected direction.

The plurality of figures 50 comprises a first set of figures 60 and a second set of figures 62. Each of the first set of figures 60 and the second set of figures 62 is spaced apart from each other and distributed on the basal wall 14. Each of the first set of figures 60 has a color that is distinct from a color of each of the second set of figures 62. Additionally, each of the first set of figures 60 and the second set of figures 62 may have an ornamental appearance of a soccer player. Each of the first set of figures 60 and the second set of figures 62 is arranged to define a pair of opposing soccer teams. Each of the first 60 and second 62 sets of figures may include a goalie 64, a row of defenders 66, a plurality of center field players 68 and a row of aggressors 70.

The goalie 64 of each of the first 60 and second 62 sets of figures may be centrally positioned in front of a corresponding one of the first goal 40 and the second goal 42. The row of defenders 66 corresponding to the first set of figures 60 may be positioned on the first half 34 of the basal wall 14. The row of defenders 66 corresponding to the first set of figures 60 may be positioned between the first goal 40 and the line 32. The row of aggressors 70 corresponding to the first set of figures 60 may be positioned on the second half 36 of the basal wall 14. The row of aggressors 70 corresponding to the first set of figures 60 may be positioned between the line 32 and the second goal 42. The plurality of center field players 68 corresponding to the first set of figures 60 may be distributed adjacent to the line 32.

The row of defenders 66 corresponding to the second set of figures 62 may be positioned on the second half 36 of the basal wall 14. The row of defenders 66 corresponding to the second set of figures 62 may be positioned between the second goal 42 and the line 32. The row of aggressors 70 corresponding to the second set of figures 62 may be positioned on the first half 34 of the basal wall 14. The row of aggressors 70 corresponding to the second set of figures 62 may be positioned between the line 32 and the second goal 42. The plurality of center field players 68 corresponding to the second set of figures 62 may be distributed adjacent to the line 32.

In use, the ball 48 is placed within the circle 38. Each of the first set of figures 60 and the second set of figures 62 are manipulated in the effort to urge the ball 48 into the associated first goal 40 and second goal 42. A point is scored when the ball 48 is urged into the associated first goal 40 and second goal 42. The ball 48 is urged along the basal wall 14 in accordance with the rules of the game of soccer. The first set of figures 60 is manipulated in the attempt to urge the ball 48 into the second goal 42. The second set of figures 62 is manipulated in the attempt to urge the ball 48 into the first goal 40. The first set of figures 60 is manipulated in the attempt to prevent the ball 48 from being urged into the first goal 40. The second set of figures 62 is manipulated in the attempt to prevent the ball 48 from being urged into the second goal 42.

With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded.

A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
