The sole comprises a front part with a low-relief bearing surface having a first substantially triangular recess and a second almost rectangular recess, and a rear part with an equally low-relief bearing surface having a substantially rectangular recess; the bearing surfaces of said front and rear parts of the sole are marked with fine lines; the reproductions show a sole for the right item of footwear, the sole for the corresponding left item of footwear being the mirror image of the one shown in the reproductions.
