Claims
- 1. A method for recovering oil from subterranean wells which comprises:
- a) dispersing a soluble graft-copolymer of lignin-(2-propenamide)-(2-methyl-3-oxo-4-oxyhex-1-ene-6-ol) in injection water to form a mixture;
- b) injecting said mixture into the subterranean formation and allowing it form a foam; and
- c) moving said injection fluid through the formation as a hydraulic ram, thereby pushing the resident oil to a production well.
