Claims
- 1. In a computer case having one or more vacant bays for receiving peripherals, the improvement comprises a storage assembly and means for mounting said assembly into one or more of said bays.
- 2. The invention of claim 1, wherein the storage assembly mounting hardware is an integral part of the storage assembly.
- 3. The invention of claim 1 wherein the storage assembly uses one or more of the unused bays.
- 4. The invention of claim 1 wherein the storage assembly has a door, access panel, cover, and/or plate.
- 5. The insert of claim 1 wherein the storage assembly has a locking mechanism in order to block or allow access to the contents of the insert.
- 6. The invention of claim 5 wherein the storage assembly's lock is mechanical, electrical, chemical, magnetic, frictional, computer controlled, and/or any combination thereof.
- 7. The invention of claim 1 wherein the storage assembly has the ability to slide out of the storage assembly in a manner similar to a drawer.
- 8. The invention of claim 1 wherein the storage assembly has the ability to be removed from the computer to act as a portable storage device.
