Claims
- 1. A spacer for an image forming apparatus comprising:a spacer base member, the surface of which comprises a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface; and a conductive film covering the concave and convex surface of said spacer base member so that the surface of said spacer covered by the conductive film has a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, wherein the resistance of said conductive film is in the range of 109Ω/□ to 1012Ω/□, and l≧p/2, wherein l is a length of each concavity and p is a pitch of the concave and convex surface.
- 2. A spacer for an image forming apparatus comprising:a spacer base member, the surface of which comprises a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface; and a conductive film covering the concave and convex surface of said spacer base member so that the surface of said spacer covered by the conductive film has a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, wherein the resistance of said conductive film is in the range of 109Ω/□ to 1012Ω/□, and t≧0.2 l, and l≧p/2, wherein t is a depth of each concavity, l is a length of each concavity and p is a pitch of the concave and convex surface.
- 3. A spacer for an image forming apparatus comprising:a spacer base member, the surface of which comprises a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface; and a film covering the concave and convex surface of said spacer base member so that the surface of said spacer covered by the film has a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, wherein said film comprises a material which has a smaller secondary electron emission coefficient than that of a material comprising said spacer base member and is electroconductive, wherein the resistance of said conductive film is in the range of 109Ω/□ to 1012Ω/□, and l≧p/2, wherein l is a length of each concavity and p is a pitch of the concave and convex surface.
- 4. A spacer for an image forming apparatus comprising:a spacer base member, the surface of which comprises a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface; and a film covering the concave and convex surface of said spacer base member so that the surface of said spacer covered by the film has a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, wherein said film comprises a material which has a smaller secondary electron emission coefficient than that of a material comprising said spacer base member and is electroconductive, wherein the resistance of said conductive film is in the range of 109Ω/□ to 1012Ω/□, and t≧0.2 l, and l≧p/2, wherein t is a depth of each concavity, l is a length of each concavity and p is a pitch of the concave and convex surface.
- 5. An image forming apparatus comprising:a rear plate on which an electron-emitting device is disposed; a face plate opposing said rear plate and provided with an image forming member; and a spacer disposed between said rear plate and said face plate, said spacer comprising a spacer base member, the surface of which comprises a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, and a conductive film covering the concave and convex surface of said spacer base member so that the surface of said spacer covered by said conductive film has a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, wherein the resistance of said conductive film is in the range of 109Ω/□ to 1012Ω/□, and l≧p/2, wherein l is a length of each concavity and p is a pitch of the concave and convex surface.
- 6. An image forming apparatus comprising:a rear plate on which an electron-emitting device is disposed; a face plate opposing said rear plate and provided with an image forming member; and a spacer disposed between said rear plate and said face plate, said spacer comprising a spacer base member, the surface of which comprises a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, and a conductive film covering the concave and convex surface of said spacer base member so that the surface of said spacer covered by said conductive film has a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface; wherein the resistance of said conductive film is in the range of 109Ω/□ to 1012Ω/□, and t≧0.2 l, and l≧p/2, wherein t is a depth of each concavity, l is a length of each concavity and p is a pitch of the concave and convex surface.
- 7. An image forming apparatus comprising:a rear plate on which an electron-emitting device is disposed; a face plate opposing said rear plate and provided with an image forming member; and a spacer disposed between said rear plate and said face plate, said spacer comprising a spacer base member, the surface of which comprises a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, and a film covering the concave and convex surface of said spacer base member so that the surface of said spacer covered by the film has a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, wherein said film comprises a material which has a smaller secondary electron emission coefficient than that of a material comprising said spacer base member and is electroconductive, wherein the resistance of said conductive film is in the range of 109Ω/□ to 1012Ω/□, and l≧p/2, wherein l is a length of each concavity and p is a pitch of the concave and convex surface.
- 8. An image forming apparatus comprising:a rear plate on which an electron-emitting device is disposed; a face plate opposing said rear plate and provided with an image forming member; and a spacer disposed between said rear plate and said face plate, said spacer comprising a spacer base member, the surface of which comprises a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, and a film covering the concave and convex surface of said spacer base member so that the surface of said spacer covered by said film has a plurality of concavities forming a concave and convex surface, wherein said film comprises a material which has a smaller secondary electron emission coefficient than that of a material comprising said spacer base member and is electroconductive, wherein the resistance of said conductive film is in the range of 109Ω/□ to 1012Ω/□, and t≧0.2 l, and l≧p/2, wherein t is depth of each concavity, l is a length of each concavity and p is a pitch of the concave and convex surface.
