This invention is a new invention in which no patents or ideas already exist. This is a brand new product that will be brought to the market. It is a new product and that is standalone. The main impetus for the Spect8 (Coat with Blanket) is so that soccer moms and spectators will never be left out in the cold during sporting events; as now all they must do is unzip the coat and a blanket unfolds out. Blanket is warm and waterproof so spectators will now stay warm and dry no matter what the conditions are.
Stephanie Ann Green is a full-time working mother of 3 small kids with an MBA. Her house is comprised of a family of 5 and she is always coaching sports or taking her kids to sporting events. In spring soccer of 2019, she froze at each game with unpredictable Pacific Northwest weather and thought there has to be something on the market that is a coat and blanket. There was nothing and as such, Spect8 (Coat with Blanket) was invented.
As mentioned above, there is a huge market and need for this product. The main reason for this invention is for safety and to prevent cutting fingers while trying to cut the fruit away from the skin on fruits such as cantaloupe, apples, oranges, and mangos to name a few. It also works better than any ice cream scoop to cut through ice cream instead of scooping it.

There is no other invention like this on the market. All materials are on the market currently so it's a matter of assembling existing materials that are commercially available. Fabric, stuffing and a blanket are the main materials for this project. Essentially it is a matter of sewing a coat of any style or shape, and adding a zipper component to it that contains a waterproof and warm blanket.
