BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(1) FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention generally relates to the field of spoon holders, and, more particularly, to a spoon holder that can absorb the extra liquid that remains below the base of the spoon while putting the spoon on a rack or counter.

(2) BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Absorbent materials for retaining and confining liquids are well known. Fibrous materials, such as cotton and wood pulp, are woven into absorbent pads and towels. Most of these materials have limitations on their absorbency, and are incapable of effectively controlling or capturing a wide variety of heavy or fine particles.

Absorbent pads are conventionally used for a variety of commercial and industrial purposes. Such pads are often comprised of a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorbent layer containing water absorbent resin and a fibrous material, which is usually provided between the top and back sheets, for absorbing and retaining a liquid.

Accordingly, there is a need for an improved device that can absorb the waste liquid in cooking utensils, such as spoons. This will help the user keep their racks and kitchen clean while cooking. The present invention is a device for placing cooking utensils.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In the view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of absorbent pads now present in the prior art, the present invention provides an improved absorbent pad assembly. As such, the general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a new and improved absorbent pad that has all of the advantages of the prior art, and none of the disadvantages.

An objective of the present invention is to provide an absorbent pad that has absorbent material in the middle of pad.

It is a further objective of the present invention to provide a uniquely structured absorbent pad.

An objective of the present invention is to provide an absorbent pad that would be used for cooking utensils in the kitchen.

It is a further objective of the present invention to provide an absorbent pad that is helpful in keeping the kitchen and racks clean.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide an absorbent pad that will reduce the time users must spend washing spoon holders or counters.

It is further an objective of the present invention to provide a bunch of absorbent pads for use in the kitchen.

It is still further an objective of the present invention to provide an absorbent pad that will be economical to manufacture and easy to implement.

In this respect, before explaining at least one embodiment of the invention in detail, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited in its application to the details of construction and to the arrangements of the components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. The invention is capable of other embodiments, and of being practiced and carried out in various ways. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology employed herein are for the purpose of description, and should not be regarded as limiting.

These, together with other objectives of the invention and the various features of novelty that characterize the invention, are pointed out with particularity in the disclosure. For a better understanding of the invention, its operating advantages, and the specific objectives attained by its uses, reference should be had to the accompanying descriptive matter, in which there are illustrated preferred embodiments of the invention.

Accordingly, the present disclosure includes features and advantages that are believed to enable it to advance the art of placing items on carriers. Characteristics and advantages of the present disclosure, described above and additional features and benefits, will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art upon consideration of the following detailed description and with reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In the following detailed description, many embodiments are described as per the invention. These embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the invention, and it is to be understood that the embodiments may be combined, or that other embodiments may be utilized, and that structural, logical, and electrical changes may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. The following detailed description is, therefore, not to be taken in a limiting sense, and the scope of the present invention is defined by the appended description and their equivalents.

As per the present invention, an absorbent pad is provided. There are total 20 absorbent sheets in each absorbing pad. All of the sheets have an adhesive base on their posterior side. The absorbent sheets have thick absorbent material in their center. These absorbent sheets act as a disposable absorbent sheet. They are set down to take liquids off of used spoons in the kitchen/rack. It prevents the rack from being dirty due to spoon stains. Therefore, the present invention will reduce the amount of time users must spend washing and cleaning their spoon holders or racks. The absorbent pad comes in different designs, so that it may also be used as a decorative pad.

The absorbent sheet is made from medium grade paper and ultra-thin absorbent material in the center so that it can absorb more stains than other available absorbing pads. There are a total of 20 sheets of 3 ½ inch×3 inch. Furthermore, the invention comes wrapped in cellophane.

It is to be understood that the above description is intended to be illustrative, and not restrictive. For example, the above-discussed embodiments may be used in combination with each other. Many other embodiments will be apparent to those of skill in the art upon reviewing the above description.

The benefits and advantages that may be provided by the present invention have been described above with regard to specific embodiments. These benefits and advantages, and any elements or limitations that may cause them to occur or to become more pronounced, are not to be construed as critical, required, or essential features of any or all of the embodiments.

While the present invention has been described with reference to particular embodiments, it should be understood that the embodiments are illustrative, and that the scope of the invention is not limited to these embodiments. Many variations, modifications, additions, and improvements to the embodiments described above are possible. It is contemplated that these variations, modifications, additions, and improvements fall within the scope of the invention.
