Abstract
I claim Squito Net, is for keeping mosquitos and other insects out of a vehicle. The material is shaped in the form of a triangular bag. The netting would be elastic and double-nitted at the opening and the tip to prevent tears or breaks when appling to the window portion of the vehicles door. The elasticity of the netting will ensure a seal against the body of the door to keep out pest, at the same time allowing ventilation and some degree of visibility beyond the window.
Description

Squito Net is a product that would be made of an elastic fabric or a blend of fabrics. The Squito Net will be made to fit the window portion of a vehicles door. It's purpose will be to keep flying insect pest out of the vehicle, while allowing cool air to flow through the vehicle. The net would be used at drive-in movies, camp sites, or just at the park.

The net would be double nitted at the corner tip and opening to prevent breaking or tears in it when placing over the window of a vehicles door. The net will come in small to large fitting size for different size vehicle windows. The Squito Net will extend down the window portion much like a woman's nylon stocking, and it's appearance would look much like window tinting.

Claims
  • 1. A removable screening cover for a window in a door of a vehicle comprising, a generally trapezoidal sheet of porous material sized to at least cover the window opening in the door and being folded over to form a pocket along one edge thereof whereby the cover may be fitted over the door and retained thereon; the porous material having a degree of porosity to render objects on one side of the material to be viewable from the other side of the material when installed over the window; the sheet of material being of double thickness in the folded portion receiving the door; the porous material further having a porosity to render it a barrier to flying insects.
  • 2. The cover of claim 1 wherein the porous material is elastic.
  • 3. The cover of claim 1 wherein the folded portion is disposed on two adjacent corners of the trapezoidal shape and disposed to receive the door in tension.
