Claims
- 1. Automatic beverage filling machinery by which a precise predetermined quantity of beverage is automatically placed in a container by eliminating eccentric cam rotation, comprising:
- at least one fill valve for automatically filling a container comprising a can or a bottle with a precise predetermined quantity of beverage;
- a hybrid cam assembly comprising a housing, a cam comprising a standard camming end rotatably supported by the housing, a second normally-cantilevered end comprising a non-electrical rotatable end bearing assembly converting said second end to a non-cantilevered end and a central unsupported portion;
- the rotatable end bearing assembly further comprising a non-rotatable end support which is interposed between the second end and the housing;
- the end bearing assembly collectively comprising mating male and female parts one of which rotates with the cam and the other of which does not.
- 2. Automatic beverage filling machinery according to claim 1 wherein the housing comprises at least one large aperture which does not receive or hold liquid.
- 3. Automatic beverage filling machinery by which a precise predetermined quantity of beverage is automatically placed in a container by eliminating eccentric cam rotation, comprising:
- at least one fill valve for automatically filling a container comprising a can or a bottle with a precise predetermined quantity of beverage;
- a hybrid cam assembly comprising a housing, a cam comprising a standard camming end and a second normally-cantilevered end comprising a non-electrical end bearing assembly converting said second end to a non-cantilevered end;
- the end bearing assembly further comprising an end support which is interposed between the second end and the housing;
- the end bearing assembly collectively comprising relatively rotatable mating male and female parts;
- the end support comprising the male part and the second end comprising the female part.
- 4. Automatic beverage filling machinery by which a precise predetermined quantity of beverage is automatically placed in a container by eliminating eccentric cam rotation, comprising:
- at least one fill valve for automatically filling a container comprising a can or a bottle with a precise predetermined quantity of beverage;
- a hybrid cam assembly comprising a housing, a cam comprising a standard camming end and a second normally-cantilevered end comprising a non-electrical end bearing assembly converting said second end to a non-cantilevered end;
- the end bearing assembly further comprising an end support which is interposed between the second end and the housing;
- the end bearing assembly collectively comprising relatively rotatable mating male and female parts;
- the mating male and female parts being contiguous one with the other, each being generally conically configurated.
- 5. Automatic beverage filling machinery according to claim 4 wherein the generally conical configuration comprises a male frusto-conical male projection and a frusto-conical female recess.
- 6. Automatic beverage filling machinery by which a precise predetermined quantity of beverage is automatically placed in a container by eliminating eccentric cam rotation, comprising:
- at least one fill valve for automatically filling a container comprising a can or a bottle with a precise predetermined quantity of beverage;
- a hybrid cam assembly comprising a housing, a cam comprising a standard camming end and a second normally-cantilevered end comprising a non-electrical end bearing assembly converting said second end to a non-cantilevered end;
- the end bearing assembly further comprising an end support which is interposed between the second end and the housing;
- the end bearing assembly collectively comprising relatively rotatable mating male and female parts;
- the end support comprising a cap at one end of the housing held in position by removable fasteners.
- 7. Automatic beverage filling machinery by which a precise predetermined quantity of beverage is automatically placed in a container by eliminating eccentric cam rotation, comprising:
- at least one fill valve for automatically filling a container comprising a can or a bottle with precise predetermined quantity of beverage;
- a cam assembly whereby a cantilevered centrally unsupported rotatable cam becomes non-cantilevered, the cam assembly comprising a housing, the cam comprising a standard camming end, and a second normally-cantilevered end comprising an end journalled for rotation to a bearing assembly whereby said second end comprises a non-cantilevered end;
- the end bearing assembly further comprising an end support which supports the second end of the cam and in respect to which the cam rotates and which is non-rotatably joined to the housing;
- the second end and the bearing assembly collectively comprising mating male and female parts one of which rotates in respect to the other.
