Claims
- 1. A process for preparing a radioactive stent comprising reacting a radioactive isotope with an adhesive that is a peptide, a fat or gold, said gold used in combination with a thiol-group-containing complexing agent, at 0-100° C., followed by coating the stent with the radiolabeled adhesive at 0° C.-100° C.
- 2. A process according to claim 1, wherein the radioactive isotope is one or more of Ag, Au, Ba, Bi, C, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Gd, Hg, Ho, In, Ir, Lu, Mn, Ni, P, Pb, Pd, Pm, Pt, Re, Rh, Ru, S, Sb, Sc, Sm, Tb, Tc or Y.
- 3. A process according to claim 1, wherein the adhesive is a peptide, or a fat.
- 4. A process according to claim 1, wherein the adhesive is gold in combination with a thiol-group-containing complexing agent.
- 5. A process according to claim 1, wherein the adhesive is a complexing peptide, or a complexing fat.
- 6. A process for preparing a radioactive stent comprising coating a non-radioactive stent with an adhesive that is a peptide, a fat or gold, said gold used in combination with a thiol-group-containing complexing agent at 0° C.-100° C., followed by coating the stent with a radioactive isotope by placing the stent at 0-100° C. into a solution of the radioactive isotope.
- 7. A process according to claim 6, wherein the radioactive isotope is one or more of Ag, Au, Ba, Bi, C, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Gd, Hg, Ho, In, Ir, Lu, Mn, Ni, P, Pb, Pd, Pm, Pt, Re, Rh, Ru, S, Sb, Sc, Sm, Tb, Tc or Y.
- 8. A process according to claim 6, wherein the adhesive is a peptide, or a fat.
- 9. A process according to claim 6, wherein the adhesive is gold in combination with a thiol-group-containing complexing agent.
- 10. A process according to claim 6, wherein the adhesive is a complexing peptide, or a complexing fat.
