Claims
- 1. A system for refilling a stick product dispenser with a new stick product from a refill tube, dispensing being accomplished by using said dispenser to rub an exposed end of said stick product against a surface to which the stick product adheres, said dispenser including a case having an open end for receiving and dispensing stick product, and a bottom end opposing said open end, whereby said stick product extends over and is movable along the entire longitudinal axis of the case, a manually rotatable knurled nut being rotatably secured to the bottom of said case, an elongated screw threaded spindle having one end concentric with and rigidly attached to a portion of said knurled nut interior to said case, said threaded spindle extending with its other end terminating at said open end of said case, an advancing component secured against rotation within said case between an innermost end of said stick product and said bottom end of said case, said advancing component having a centrally located threaded hole for receiving said threaded spindle, whereby as said threaded spindle is rotated via said knurled nut in a given direction, said advancing component pushes said stick product out of said case, said stick product being configured to fill an interior portion of said case between said advancing component and the open end of said case, wherein the improvement comprises:
- said advancing component being a bowl-shaped piston;
- said stick product consisting of a molding of spreadable material having one end secured to said bowl-shaped piston, said stick product having a centrally located blind hole opposing the threaded hole of said piston for receiving said threaded spindle;

- 2. The refill system of claim 1, wherein the free end of the socket ends with the bottom of the piston.
- 3. The refill system of claim 1, wherein the socket and the tube are manufactured as a one-piece part.
- 4. The refill system of claim 1, further including the socket and the tube being connected with one another over a ring-shaped notch- or snap-connection.
- 5. The refill system of claim 1, further including the piston being connected with the socket via several straps, which tear off during the pulling of the piston in a direction towards the case bottom.
- 6. The refill system of claim 5, wherein the socket and the tube are manufactured as a one-piece injection molded part.
- 7. The refill system of claim 1, further including the piston and the socket being connected during the pulling of the piston in a direction towards the case bottom with one another over a notch- and/or snap-connection, which can be loosened.
- 8. The refill system of claim 1, further including the threaded drilled hole of said advancing element being sealed by a thin membrane penetrable by the threaded spindle.
- 9. The refill system of claim 1, wherein a bottom portion of said piston comprises an inner cone as a retracting auxiliary vehicle for a peak point of said spindle.
- 10. The refill system of claim 1, wherein the tube is closed at the end located opposite to the piston.
- 11. The refill system of claim 1, wherein the wall of the tube is less or at the most equally as thick as the wall of the case.
- 12. The refill system of claim 1, wherein the tube and/or the piston are composed of paper, cardboard or plastic.
- 13. The refill system of claim 1, wherein the tube and/or the internal coat of the tube-is shaped slightly cortically, whereby the cone tapers towards the end located opposite to the piston forms a cone angle of maximum 3.degree..
- 14. The refill system of claim 1, wherein the tube has a length adjusted to the available internal height of the stick product dispenser and an internal diameter adjusted to the diameter of the case.
- 15. The refill system of claim 1, wherein the molded body comprises on its exterior surface a depression and/or groove along its longitudinal axis.
- 16. A refillable stick product dispenser which dispenses stick product by application to a surface, such as a deodorant stick, an adhesive stick, a lip stick, a release agent stick, a shaving soap stick or coloring stick, said stick product dispenser comprising:
- a holder for receiving a stick product movable along the longitudinal axis of said holder, the stick product extending over the entire longitudinal axis of the holder, a hand-operated knurled nut being attached via a snap-in joint to a bottom of the holder, an elongated screwthreaded spindle having one end concentric with and rigidly attached to a portion of said knurled nut interior to said holder, said threaded spindle extending with its other end terminating at an open end of said holder;
- a plunger non-rotatably mounted in the holder being displaceable longitudinally of the holder by means of the screwthreaded spindle engaging in a screwthreaded bore extending throughout the plunger to apply said stick product accommodated in the holder;
- a closure cap designed to be pushed on over the upper edge of the holder;
- a refill cartridge for said stick product dispenser including a tube for holding a molding of said stick product configured to the internal volume and internal configuration of the holder said refill cartridge being formed with a blind hole concentric with the longitudinal axis thereof, said refill cartridge being drawn into the holder from an opening at the one end thereof, for refilling said stick product dispenser;
- said tube being configured for facilitating the transfer of stick product into said holder;
- wherein after the stick product has been used up, an original plunger oft he spent stick product is first removed from the empty holder, and wherein said refill cartridge further includes a plunger having a screwthreaded bore attached to one end of the molding of said stick product opposing said blind hole at an open end of said tube with a portion of said plunger protruding therefrom, thereby permitting said refill cartridge to be positioned plunger end first onto said holder, as the screwthreaded spindle is rotated by rotation of the knurled nut for screwing the spindle into said bore of the plunger, for drawing the plunger together with the stick product up to a base of the holder, and freeing said tube from the plunger and associated molding of the stick product, permitting removal of the tube;
- said molding being formed in its outer circumference with a longitudinal groove or notch to prevent air from being trapped in said holder during insertion of said molding; and
- said refill cartridge further including said tube being connected at one end to a sleeve of greater internal diameter than said tube, said sleeve annularly surrounding the plunger at a distance, the internal diameter of the sleeve being such that the sleeve can be pushed on over an upper outer surface of the holder for retaining said refill cartridge on said holder during refilling, and which comprises an annular stop surface for the front of the holder.
- 17. A refillable stick product dispenser as claimed in claim 16, wherein said one end of the sleeve is level with, or projects slightly beyond, the base of the plunger.
- 18. A refillable stick product dispenser as claimed in claim 16, wherein the holder and the tube are made in one piece.
- 19. A refillable stick product dispenser as claimed in claim 16, wherein the sleeve and the tube are joined together by an annular drop-in or snap-in connection.
- 20. A refillable stick product dispenser as claimed in claim 16 further including said plunger being joined to the sleeve by several bridges which break when the plunger is drawn towards the base of said holder.
- 21. A refillable stick product dispenser as claimed in claim 20, wherein the plunger and the sleeve are injection-molded in one piece.
- 22. A refillable stick product dispenser as claimed in claim 16, further including the plunger and the sleeve being joined together by drop-in or snap-in connections which are designed to release when the plunger is drawn towards the holder base.
