Claims
- 1. A composition for application in molten condition to areas of a material to be stiffened and hardening to stiff condition consisting essentially of a uniform mixture of synthetic polymeric material having a melt viscosity at 180.degree. C. of from about 15,000 to about 90,000 cps. as determined by Brookfield Thermosel Viscometer with a #27 spindle and a 1/2 hour time, and from about 10% to about 50% by weight based on the weight of said composition of solid glass spheres having a diameter capable of passing a U.S. Sieve number 325.
- 2. A composition for stiffening as defined in claim 1 in which said glass spheres have an average diameter of about 30 microns and are present in the amount of from about 20% to about 40% by weight based on the weight of said composition.
- 3. A composition for stiffening as defined in claim 2 in which said glass spheres carry a coating of an organosilane coupling agent.
