Claims
- 1. A stirrer for stirring a liquid, which comprises:
- a container within which said liquid is housed, said container being mounted on a base;
- a stator positioned on said base and circumvented by said container;
- a rotor disposed in said container and provided with stirring vanes; and
- a cylindrically shaped housing of nonmagnetic material having a peripheral wall thereof interposed between said stator and said rotor and fluidically rotatively supporting said rotor by said liquid wherein said stator and rotor are located on inner and outer sides of said housing, respectively, and said rotor is of a hollow cylindrical shape open at one end and provided at an opposite end with an aperture centrally in a peripheral wall thereof to stir streams of said liquid from an inside portion to an outside portion of said peripheral wall.
- 2. A stirrer as defined in claim 1, wherein said aperture comprises a plurality of stepped surfaces.
