Implementations of the present disclosure will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the attached figures.
It will be appreciated that for simplicity and clarity of illustration, where appropriate, reference numerals have been repeated among the different figures to indicate corresponding or analogous elements. In addition, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the embodiments described herein. However, it will be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art that the embodiments described herein can be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, methods, procedures and components have not been described in detail so as not to obscure the related relevant feature being described. The drawings are not necessarily to scale and the proportions of certain parts may be exaggerated to better illustrate details and features. The description is not to be considered as limiting the scope of the embodiments described herein.
Several definitions that apply throughout this disclosure will now be presented.
The term “substantially” is defined to be essentially conforming to the particular dimension, shape, or other word that “substantially” modifies, such that the component need not be exact. For example, “substantially cylindrical” means that the object resembles a cylinder, but can have one or more deviations from a true cylinder. The term “comprising” means “including, but not necessarily limited to”; it specifically indicates open-ended inclusion or membership in a so-described combination, group, series and the like.

In detail, the first peripheral wall 113 includes a first left sidewall 1131, a first right sidewall 1132, a first front wall 1133, and a first back wall 1134. The first left sidewall 1131 and the first right sidewall 1132 are oppositely arranged. The first front wall 1133 and the first back wall 1134 are oppositely arranged. In at least one embodiment, the first left sidewall 1131 and the first right sidewall 1132 are angled toward each other toward the first front wall 1133.

In at least one embodiment, the second storage box 12 and the first storage box 11 are not arranged on a same plane. In detail, the second bottom wall 121 is substantially perpendicular to the first back wall 1134 and substantially parallel to the first bottom wall 111 and arranged away from the first bottom wall 111 extending away from the first front wall 1133. Thus, the first bottom wall 111 and the second bottom wall 121 are positioned separately at two ends of the first back wall 1134 to form the storage container 10 in a stepped fashion.
In detail, the second peripheral wall 123 includes a second left sidewall 1231, a second right sidewall 1232, a second front wall 1233, and a second back wall 1234. The second left sidewall 1231 and the second right sidewall 1232 are oppositely arranged. The second front wall 1233 and the second back wall 1234 are oppositely arranged. In at least one embodiment, the second front wall 1233 is positioned at a junction between the first back wall 1134 and the second bottom wall 121 and extends from the first back wall 1134 away from the first bottom wall 111.
To strengthen a junction between the first storage box 11 and the second storage box 12, a plurality of ribs 13 are arranged between the first storage box 11 and the second storage box 12. In at least one embodiment, the ribs 13 are arranged at a junction between the second bottom wall 121 and the first back wall 1134. The ribs 13 are substantially right-trapezoidal. To maintain an appearance of the storage container 10, the first left sidewall 1131 and the first right sidewall 1132 each extend away from the first front wall 1133 toward the second back wall 1234 to form a left flange 1135 and a right flange 1136. The left flange 1135 and the right flange 1136 are used for blocking sight of the ribs 13. In another embodiment, the ribs 13 may also be arranged on an inner surface of the left flange 1135 and the right flange 1136 to strengthen coupling of the left flange 1135, the right flange 1136, and the second bottom wall 121.
In another embodiment, the second storage box 12 and the first storage box 11 are not positioned on a same plane. In detail, the second bottom wall 121 is substantially perpendicular to the first back wall 1134 and extends parallel to the first bottom wall 111 and away from the first front wall 1133. The second bottom wall 121 is arranged between two ends of the first back wall 1134 and does not include the two ends of the first back wall 1134 to form the storage container 10 in a stepped fashion. The second front wall 1233 is a portion of the first back wall 1134 at a junction between the second bottom wall 121 and the first back wall 1134 and extending away from the first bottom wall 111.
In another embodiment, the second storage box 12 and the first storage box 11 are positioned on a same plane. The second bottom wall 121 is formed at a junction between the first bottom wall 111 and the first back wall 1134 extending away from the first front wall 1133. The second left sidewall 1231 is formed at a junction between the first left sidewall 1131 and the first back wall 1134 extending away from the first front wall 1133, and the second right sidewall 1232 is formed at a junction between the first right sidewall 1132 and the first back sidewall 1134 extending away from the first front wall 1133.
The second storage box 12 further includes at least one limiting plate 126. The limiting plate 126 limits a position of objects within the second storage box 12 to prevent the objects from moving or falling over when opening the door 20. In at least one embodiment, the limiting plate 126 is substantially rectangular and arranged within the second storage space 125 to divide the second storage space 125 into at least two portions. The limiting plate 126 substantially faces the second left sidewall 1231 and the second right sidewall 1232 and is substantially perpendicular to the second bottom plate 121. A quantity and position of the limiting plate 126 may be changed according to requirements. For example, the limiting plate 126 may be positioned facing the second front wall 1233 and the second back wall 1234 and perpendicular to the second bottom wall 121.
The storage container 10 further includes at least one separating plate 127 to define a plurality of storage spaces so that a user may designate objects to be placed in different spaces, thereby maintaining tidiness of the storage container 10. In at least one embodiment, the separating plate 127 is arranged within the second storage space 125 to divide the second storage space 125 and define a third storage space 128. In detail, the separating plate 127 is arranged between the second left sidewall 1231 and the second right sidewall 1232 and faces the second front wall 1233. The third storage space 128 may be rectangular.
In another embodiment, the separating plate 127 may be arranged within the first storage space 115 to divide the first storage space 115.
The storage container 10 may further include an installing portion 14 to install the storage container 10 on the refrigerator. For example, the installing portion 14 may be a slotted structure to assist in installing the storage container 10 on the door 20. The installing portion 14 may protrude vertically from the left flange 1135 and the right flange 1136, for example. To maintain an appearance of the storage container 10, the second left sidewall 1231 and the second right sidewall 1232 may include a blocking plate 15 for blocking sight of the installing portion 14 (as shown in
Referring to
As described above, the storage container 10 is installed on the refrigerator. The storage container 10 includes at least the first storage box 11 and the second storage box 12 to satisfy storage requirements of a user. The second bottom wall 121 is substantially perpendicular to the first back wall 1134 and non-planar with the first bottom wall 111, thereby being formed in a stepped fashion. In addition, an angle between the second back wall 1234 and the second bottom wall 121 is greater than 90 degrees to configure the storage container 10 in an angled orientation relative to the door 20, thereby achieving convenient storage and retrieval of objects stored in the storage container 10.
The embodiments shown and described above are only examples. Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present technology have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the present disclosure, the disclosure is illustrative only, and changes may be made in the detail, including in matters of shape, size and arrangement of the parts within the principles of the present disclosure up to, and including, the full extent established by the broad general meaning of the terms used in the claims.
