Storage of viscous substances

Abstract

A storage device has a stand (3) and container (2) the stand and container of the invention provides an organised and tidy means of storing wallpaper paste-adhesive (11). Which-efficiently uses the space available furthermore the stand (2) and container (3) of the invention provides for people by being paste table (12) waist height hence easier excess to the paste-adhesive (11) when wallpapering. It is preferred that the device furthermore comprises of an air tight lid (6) which may be replaced over the opening of the container (2) when not in use. In using the air tight lid (6) the paste-adhesive (11) stored there in the container will not turn into a unusable watery consistency due to exposure to air. Preferably the invention further more comprises of handles (8) to provide an easy means of moving the device around when this is required. Alternatively or in addition the device preferably still the container has one or more at least one but preferably a plurality of attachment means there on where by a paste brush or paste roller (10) and other decorating implements such as a paste mixing tool may be reasonably attached to the device when not in use and removed when required not shown in FIG. (10).

This invention relates to paperhanging tools/decorating trade paperhanging decorating tools comprise of

In the decorating/wallpapering trade it is known to use a bucket or the like of for the storage of wallpaper paste-adhesives.

Where by a brush or roller is coated with paste which is then applied to the surface as required.

However a disadvantage of this form of storage dispention is that when the brush or roller is dipped directly into the bucket of paste it will become overfull resulting in the user having to scrape the excess paste-adhesive off.

This will make unnecessary mess and result in unsatisfactory coverage of the paste brush or roller with wallpaper paste further more the adhesive will clog the brush or roller resulting in an uneven application of paste-adhesive to the surface it is being applied too.

Further more of the bucket or the like of there is no easy means of access to the bucket or the like of always having to bend down continually to apply/load paste brush/roller with paste-adhesive.

For example by elevating the bucket or the like of on top of paste table to gain easier access to the bucket of wallpaper paste-adhesive would waste valuable space

there is no-easy means of access to paste-adhesive when the bucket or the like of is at ground level.

There is also no airtight lid for a bucket or the like of when not in prolonged use in not having a airtight lid the paste-adhesive will turn into a unusable watery state if left exposed to the air when not in use.

There is also no means of plurality attachments means there on where by a paste brush or roller and other decorating implements such as paste mixing tool may be reasonably attached to the bucket or like of when not in use and removed when required.

An object of this invention is to provide a device for the storage of viscous substances wallpaper paste-adhesives and furthermore the device provides for people of waist height.

In this way the container does not have to be stored on a paste table or the like of which would waste valuable space and nor does it have to be stored at ground level.

Which would result in the user having to continually bend down to load his/her;s paste brush or roller.

The invention comprises of a container and stand which elevates the container to the required height waist/paste table height from ground-level which gives you easier excess to the container and hence the wallpaper paste-adhesive more preferably the stand is hollow-base-shell-designed.

The container comprises of having a base and side walls extending upwardly there from where by at least one side of walls has a reduction in gradient in this way the container of the device may be filled with wallpaper paste-adhesive up to the level where the first reduction in gradient occurs in this way the wallpaper paste-adhesive is held within a reservoir.

Formed by the side of the walls having a change in gradient and when a user wishes to load a brush or roller with wallpaper paste-adhesive he coats/loads the side having the reduction in gradient with the paste-adhesive from the reservoir which is them applied to the surface as required.

The stand of the device interlocks with the container female-male fitting which holds the container of the device in a substantially stable position by having the correct/correspondent reductions in gradient which fits the reductions in gradient of the container resulting in a accurate-fitting-shape-design.

Preferably the device is made of a substantially resilient material such as plastics but any other suitable material such as metals.

Handles is included for the device for ease of carrying when required.

the device of the invention further comprises an airtight lid which is placed over the opening when the device is not being used to stop the paste-adhesive from turning into a unusable watery state.

There is also a 2 in 1 device which consists of stand and container which is manufactured in one unit which will be at paste table height from ground level

which consists of side walls extending upwardly there from the sides of the walls has a reduction in gradients.

In this way a reservoir is formed for the wallpaper paste-adhesive these devices our proper suited for both paste brushes and rollers.

As shown in FIG. 3 this device comprises of a combination of stand 2 and container 3 one unit piece this is a 2 in 1 device which has a number of reductions in gradient 4 which forms a reservoir 5 which contains the paste-adhesive 11 in this way a user can load with wallpaper paste-adhesive 11.

Which in return you can use the top reduction in gradient 4a of the device to rid off overloaded/excess paste-adhesive 11 off paste roller not shown FIG. 3 before

application/pasting of wallpaper these devices our paste table 12 waist height from ground level as shown in FIG. 2.

As shown in FIG. 7 this type of container 2 has a number of implements for the use of pasting wallpaper the supports 9 is for paste mixing tool or paste brush

7 is for when paste brush has been located with paste-adhesive 11 from the reservoir 5 you can rid of excess/overloaded paste brush of paste-adhesive 11 before application/pasting wallpaper by using implement 7.

As shown in FIG. 10 this device comprises of two main parts a stand 3 and a container 2 this device is similar to that of the device illustrated in FIG. 3 the difference being the container 2 is separate in FIG. 10 which is fitted elevated on to the stand 3FIG. 10 at paste table 12 waist height from ground level.

This device is best suited for paste rollers 10 the reductions in gradient 4 our similar to those shown in FIG. 3 which holds the container 2 of FIG. 10 in a steady/stable position.

There is carrying handles 8 for the case of movement when required and there is a air tight lid 6 for the opening of the container 2 for when not in prolong use to prevent the reservoir 5 of the container 2 which holds the paste-adhesive 11 from turning into a unusable watery state FIG. 10.

Claims

1. A device for the storage of viscous substances wallpaper paste-adhesives comprising of a container having a base and stand which elevates the device to the required height from ground level. The present invention comprises of having side walls extending upwardly there from where side of walls has a reduction in gradient. The inner side walls of the present invention has a number of reductions in gradient in this way the container of the device may be filled with wallpaper paste-adhesive up to the correct level or where the first reduction in gradient occurs in this way a reservoir is formed by the inner side walls having the reduction in gradients. It is preferred that the device further comprises a stand where by the container of the device rests on the stand which elevates the container to the required height above the ground to provide easier access to the container. The stand of the device has outer side walls which have a reduction in gradient to give the stand of the device the appropriate balance steadying means from ground level. Preferably the top of the stand has upturned edges to retain the container of the device In a substantially stable position. P1 The device of the invention is hollow-base-shell-designed.

2. A device for the storage of viscous substances as claimed in claim 1 wherein it is preferable that the device is made from a substantially resilient material such as plastic materials or metals but any other suitable material may also be used.

A device for the storage of viscous substances as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 the device of the invention further more comprises of an air tight lid which is to be placed over the opening of the device when not in use in addition the device has carrying handles for ease of carrying when required.

A device for the storage of viscous substances as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 or claim 3 where in addition the device more preferably still the container of the device may have at least one but preferably a plurality of attachments means there on where by a paste brush or paste roller or other decorating implements such as mixing tool may reasonably attached to the device and removed when required.

5. A device for the storage of viscous substances as claimed in any proceeding claim wherein each device has further implements if required optional apparatus-sub frame-weight implements-kg-brakes-wheels Not Shown.
