Claims
- 1. A storage stable, two component apatitic cement composition comprising:
- a lubricant; and
- a dry component comprising basic calcium source particles at least partially coated with a partially neutralized acidic calcium phosphate.
- 2. The apatitic cement composition of claim 1, wherein said basic calcium source particles are basic calcium phosphate particles.
- 3. The apatitic cement composition of claim 1, wherein said dry component further comprises an additional calcium source.
- 4. A storage stable, two component apatitic cement composition comprising:
- a lubricant; and
- a dry component comprising basic calcium phosphate particles at least partially coated with a partially neutralized acidic calcium phosphate.
- 5. The apatitic cement composition of claim 4, wherein said two component apatitic composition has a calcium to phosphate ratio ranging from about 1 to about 2.
- 6. The apatitic cement composition of claim 4, wherein said basic calcium phosphate particles are tricalcium phosphate particles.
- 7. The apatitic cement composition of claim 4, wherein said dry component further comprises a calcium source selected from the group consisting of calcite, calcium oxide and calcium hydroxide.
- 8. The apatitic cement composition of claim 4, where said partially neutralized acidic calcium phosphate coating comprises at least one of MCPM, MCPA, DCPD and DCPA.
