Claims
- 1. A connector for joining one member to another member having opposed parallel and planar interior wall surfaces, comprising
- means for positioning the connector on the one member,
- two spaced apart neck members extending outwardly from the positioning means,
- and two side panels extending outwardly from respective ones of the neck members,
- said side panels having side surfaces for simultaneously securely gripping the interior wall surfaces of said another member and compressing said neck members into clamping engagement with said one member.
- 2. The connector of claim 1 wherein the side panels are sheet members of uniform thickness.
- 3. The connector of claim 2 wherein said side panels are separated by an interval which is greater than the maximum distance of separation of said planar interior wall surfaces.
- 4. The connector of claim 3 wherein said distance of separation is greatest adjoining said neck members.
- 5. The connector of claim 3 wherein said distance of separation is greatest at the extremities of said side panels furthest removed from said neck members.
- 6. The connector of claim 3 further including an end panel bridging from the extremity of one side panel to the corresponding extremity of the other side panel.
