- 3. The structure of claim 1 wherein: the surface of the wiper blade means includes a plurality of blades projected downwardly adjacent the inner surface.
- 4. The structure of claim 1 wherein: the drive means includes an annular driven member surrounding and secured to the annular converging wall feed means, a motor, and power transmission means connecting the drive and driven members.
- 5. A structure for a concrete pipe forming machine having a vertical movable and rotatable packer head for directing concrete into an upright jacket having a chamber to accommodate concrete and the packer head, said jacket having an open upper end, said packer head being rotatable about an upright axis, comprising: stationary means having an opening aligned with the open upper end of the jacket, rotatable means having an opening around the packer head and a downwardly converging inner surface surrounding a passage adjacent the top of the jacket for directing concrete into the chamber of the jacket, means rotatably mounting said rotatable means on said stationary means for rotation about the upright axis of the packer head, drive means for rotating said rotatable means, wiper means located in said passage adjacent said surface of said rotating means for directing concrete from said surface into the chamber of the jacket during rotation of said rotatable means, and means for mounting the wiper means adjacent said surface in a stationary position whereby concrete located on said surface is moved into engagement with the stationary wiper means and directed by said wiper means into the chamber of the jacket.
- 6. The structure of claim 5 wherein: said wiper means located adjacent said surface includes a plurality of blades projected downwardly and adjacent said surface of the rotatable means.
- 7. The structure of claim 5 wherein: said rotatable means is an annular funnel member.
- 8. The structure of claim 7 wherein: said drive means includes driven means secured to said funnel member, drive means including a motor and power transmission means connecting the drive means with the driven means whereby on operation of said motor the driven means and annular funnel member are rotated.
- 9. The structure of claim 7 wherein: said funnel member has said downwardly converging surface, said wiper means located adjacent said surface including at least one downwardly and inwardly directed wiper blade.
- 10. The structure of claim 7 wherein: said funnel member has said downwardly converging surface, said wiper means located adjacent said surface including a plurality of downwardly and inwardly directed wiper blades.
- 11. A machine for simultaneously making a pair of concrete pipes comprising: a frame, a pair of vertically movable and rotatable packer heads, means mounting the packer heads on said frame for up and down movement in a general vertical direction, a support for locating a pair of pipe jackets in vertical alignment below said pair of packer heads, each of said jackets having a chamber for accommodating a packer head and an open upper end, stationary means having a pair of openings aligned with the open upper ends of the jackets, first rotatable means having an opening around one packer head and a downwardly converging inner surface surrounding a first passage for directing concrete into the chamber of one jacket, means rotatably mounting said first rotatable means on said stationary means for rotation around said one packer head, first drive means for rotating said first rotatable means, first wiper means located in said passage adjacent said surface of said rotatable means for moving concrete from said surface into the chamber of said one jacket during rotation of said first rotatable means, second rotatable means having an opening around the other packer head and a downwardly converging inner surface surrounding a second passage for directing concrete into the chamber of the other jacket, means rotatably mounting said second rotatable means on said stationary means for rotation around said other packer head, second drive means for rotating said second rotatable means independently of the first rotatable means, second wiper means located in said second passage adjacent said surface of said second rotatable means for moving concrete from the surface of the second rotatable means into the chamber of said other jacket during rotation of said second rotatable means, and means for mounting the first and second means in stationary positions.
- 12. The machine of claim 11 wherein: said first and second rotatable means each include a funnel member having said downwardly converging inner surface.
- 13. The machine of claim 12 wherein: said first and second drive means each includes a motor operable to independently rotate the funnel member drivably connected thereto.
- 14. The machine of claim 12 wherein: said first and second drive means includes an annular driven member surrounding and secured to the funnel member, a motor, a drive member powered by the motor, and power transmission means connecting the drive and driven members whereby the motor operates to rotate the funnel member.
- 15. The machine of claim 12 wherein: said first and second wiper means each include at least one stationary wiper blade.
- 16. The machine of claim 12 wherein: said first and second wiper means each include a plurality of stationary wiper blades.
