The present invention generally relates to an improved structure for shaping makeup brush, which is an improved design of structure for shaping and assembling bristles that, in an attempt to make varied curving and shaping of bristles of a lash brush, allows of easy operation of shaping and prevents a bristle shell from getting loosened and undesirably rotated
A commonly seen brush structure that is formed by lining up or otherwise arranging bristles for makeup purposes is often manufactured through implantation of bristles, especially for the bristles of lash brush, because they are usually long and requires to be manufactured in such a way to show proper curving for facilitating easiness and safety of use in doing lash markup. The bristles of a conventional lash brush is often arranged to line up in a one by one fashion and thin metal wire is adopted for specific curving configuration at an intermediate section to provide a sequential arrangement of bristles for helical configuration and with the bristles being of different lengths, a curved outside configuration of a bristle face is formed to facilitate the operation of lash makeup. The conventional design of curved bristle face is formed through proper arrangement of bristles of various lengths to show a fixed curved arranged and this is done with lining-up and looping that takes a great effort and requires specific machinery. Consequently, the manufacturers turn to manufacturing through shaping comfortable and elastic rubber materials in order to uses a mold to help manufacturing and shaping that may properly changes the configurations of bristles to thereby ensure better result of attachment for use. However, manufacturing realized through a solid form makes the material costs increased and the product heavy. Some manufacturers thus provide a hollow configuration of bristle shell to allow of versatile variation of curving. An example is shown in US Patent Application Serial No. 2009/0293900A1, in which a pre-formed hollow bristle shell 16 is provided with a front-to-rear through structure and a pre-formed shaping bar 48 is inserted into the hollow interior of the bristle shell. A fixing pin 58 is arranged outside an insertion end of the bristle shell and extends from outside to inside to secure the end of the bristle shell so that the bristle shell so shaped can be used in a safe way to attach a cosmetic liquid for brushing and makeup of lash. The fixing structure of the conventional bristle shell is firstly done with a pin structure made of metals that functions for securing and positioning at an end. Since the metal is not just heavy and may induce chemical reaction with the cosmetic liquid, it is getting out of use in general cosmetics, otherwise specific surface treatment must be adopted, which increases the costs. Further the conventional structure of external pin requires additional assembling time and due to the curved shape of the bar and the extreme thin bar diameter, with an end being inclined or curved, it is generally impossible to do machine based production, leading to inconvenience of assembling operation and eventually resulting in poor quality control and not mass producible, which are generally “blind spots” of actual manufacture. Further, for a fixing bar having a conventional circular bar cross-section, due to the coupling operation at the tip end being unreliably secured, the bristle shell may get moved with the brush when the brush is put into use, leading to poor use conditions of loosening or minute rotation. It is thus desired to make an improvement on the state-of-the-art bristle shell structure for make up brush in order to achieve the effects of easily and reliably fixing shape of bristles of lash brush and provide practical values of mass production and economic efficiency. This is the main goal of the present invention.
The present invention aims to provide an improved structure for shaping makeup brush in consideration of the needs for easy make-up and efficient and safe manufacturing, wherein a hollow-configured U-shaped bristle shell having a bottom of the hollow space forming a positioning insertion slot to allow a projection of a positioning member at an end of a pre-formed shape-fixing bar to directly fit therein, so as to realize easy insertion and fixing purposes assembling and provide an anti-rotation assembling for effectively improving the previously discussed drawbacks and inconveniences found in the conventional designs of known shaping bristle shells.
The primary objective of the present invention is to directly form a fixing insertion slot in an inner end of a hollow interior of a molded bristle shell of a brush for easy insertion, positioning, and fitting of a mating projection formed on an end of a shaping bar so that the makeup brush so shaped, after being inserted into an insertion cavity formed in an end of a brush bar, through projecting pawls that are formed through punching being simply fit into and retaining a recessed circumferential groove formed in the shaping bar, simultaneously fixes an end of the bristle shell against loosening and rotating, whereby the curve of the shaping bar can be fixed at predetermined curving position to achieve assembling that shapes the bristle shell and simultaneously fixes opposite ends and thus ensuring the advantages of safety and convenience of use for makeup operation.

The present invention, which is an improvement of structure for shaping makeup brush, provides an improved design of bristle plane shaping and fixing structure that allows of easy operation of curving and shaping a bristle plane of makeup brush and has a structure that is illustrated in
The feature of the improved structure for shaping makeup brush is that the bristle portion is made of an elastic material to pre-form a bristle shell 20 in the form of an elongate hollow U-shaped bag, which is used in combination with a rigid shaping bar 24 that is molded and shaped with a predetermined curved configuration having a bar diameter corresponding to the hollow hole configuration of the bristle shell 20, where the bristle shell 20 has a recessed lower end in which an insertion slot 25 is formed for being assembled through receiving insertion of the shaping bar 24 that forms a projecting positioning piece 26 to fix the end section of the sleeve through simple insertion without occurring undesired movements of rotation and displacement. The outside bar surface of the whole shaping bar 24 does not need design change for specific orienting and shaping, helping simplifying the assembling operation through insertion. Through the insertion of the rigid shaping bar 24, the flexible bristle shell 20 automatically follow the shape of the bar to show a corresponding curved configuration, constituting an outside configuration of the bristle plane 22 for makeup operation. The so inserted and completed bristle shell 20 and the shaping bar 24 is together inserted and assembled, and thus positioned, in the inner bottom of the insertion cavity 12 of the brush bar, together with the retention arrangement realized through multiple point punching performed outside the brush bar that makes the punched inclined U-shaped pawls 28 fit into and retaining the circumferential groove 27 recessed in the circumferential surface of the shaping bar 24 to achieve safe positioning and assembling of the brush. The lash brush so shaped allows the bristle plane 22 thereof to meet the needs of makeup operation according to the desired makeup operation. The two ends of the complete the bristle shell 20 are both inserted and positioned so that the coupling is sound without causing any evens that affects the makeup operation through any undesired movements induced by rotation and sliding. The insertion and fixing structure realized through the positioning piece 26 projecting from the end of the shaping bar 24 can be done in a single insertion process and no secondary processing or handling is necessary without any concern about the curvature thereof. No poor use caused by difficult securing may occur due possibly to curvature and small diameter of a bar in securing with a peg pin as disclosed in the previously mentioned prior art reference. The design of curving, shaping, and fixing structure according to the present invention can actually achieve the practical advantages of easy manufacturing and sound coupling. Such simplified manufacturing and features of practicability, safety, and convenience are surely not matched by the state-of-the-art makeup brush shaping structure. Thus, besides containing less parts, providing improvements on practical efficacies in respect of safe of positioning and easy assembling, and being not very technique depending, the structural design of the present invention provides a feature of practicability and convenience of comfortable and safe gripping and operation in doing make-up. Such novel features that are full of improvement of practical advantages are improved designs of innovated structure for makeup measures of this kind.
In summary, the improved structure for shaping makeup brush according to the present invention uses a U-shaped bag like bristle shell to directly fit to a previously formed the shaping bar in order to make a curved configuration of the bristle plane. Besides the structure being simplified, the convenient and practical features of coupling through simple insertion of the positioning piece projecting from the end of the bar into the insertion slot in the inner end of the bristle shell ensures an advantage of sound coupling for makeup operation with the bristle plane. The novel and safe and convenient features of requiring fewer parts in assembling and facilitating easy makeup operation are provided.
