Claims
- 1. Compound having the structure ##STR25## wherein m and n integers selected from 0 and 1, provided that m+n is 0 or 1;
- X is selcted from the group consisting of hydrogen, halo, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkyl, and (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkoxy;
- Z is selected from the group consisting of (C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkyl and halo(C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkyl;

- R.sub.1 and R.sub.4 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen (C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkoxy, halo (C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkyl, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.12)alkenyl, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.12)alkynyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.7)cycloalkyl, cyano, carboxy, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkoxycarbonyl, and aryl;
- R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkoxy, halo(C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkyl, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.12)alkenyl, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.12)alkynyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.7)cycloalkyl, cyano, carboxy, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkoxycarbonyl, aryl and a moiety bonded at both R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 so as to form a (C.sub.3 -C.sub.7)cycloalkyl ring; and
- R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.8)alkyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.8)alkoxy, halo(C.sub.1 -C.sub.8)alkyl, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.8)alkenyl, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.8)alkynyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.7)cycloalkyl, cyano, carboxy, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkoxycarbonyl, and aryl wherein when m=0, R and R.sub.1 are not both hydrogen.
- 2. The compounds of claim 1 having the structure: ##STR26## wherein: R.sub.1 and R.sub.4 are hydrogen; and
- R is selected from the group consisting of (C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkyl, halo(C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkyl, halosubstituted phenyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkyl substituted phenyl, trihalosubstituted phenyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.7)cycloalkyl, halo(C.sub.3 -C.sub.7)cycloalkyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.7)cycloalkyl(C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.7)cycloalkyl-(C.sub.2 -C.sub.12)alkenyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.12)alkyl(C.sub.3 -C.sub.7)cycloalkyl and (C.sub.2 -C.sub.12)alkenyl(C.sub.3 -C.sub.7)cycloalkyl.
- 3. The compound of claim 1 where Z is methyl.
- 4. The compound of claim 3 wherein n and m are zero.
- 5. The compound of claim 3 wherein n+m=1.
- 6. The compound of claim 4 wherein R is slected from the group consisting of (C.sub.5 -C.sub.12)alkyl, 2-halophenyl, 3-halophenyl, 4-halophenyl, 2-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkylphenyl, 3-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkylphenyl, 4-(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkylphenyl, cyclopropyl, cyclopropyl(C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkyl, cyclopropyl(C.sub.2 -C.sub.4)alkenyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.4)alkylcyclopropyl, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.4)alkenylcyclopropyl, 1-cyclopropylcyclopropyl and 2-cyclopropylcyclopropyl.
- 7. The compound of claim 5 wherein R selected from 4-chlorophenyl, 4-flourophenyl, 4-methylphenyl, cyclopropyl and 1-cyclopropyl-1-propenyl.
- 8. A fungicidal composition for controlling phytopathogenic fungi which comprises an agronomically acceptable carrier and the compound of claim 1 wherein the ratio of the carrier to the compound is between 99:1 and 1:4.
- 9. The composition of claim 8 wherein the ratio of the agronomically acceptable carrier to compound is between 10:1 and 1:3.
- 10. A method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi which comprises applying the compound of claim 1 to the locus where control is desired, at a rate of from 0.005 to 50 kilograms per hectare.
- 11. A method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi which comprises applying the compound of claim 1 to the locus where control is desired, at a rate of from 0.025 to 10 kilograms per hectare.
