Claims
- 1. A compound of the formula: ##SPC10##
- wherein
- each X independently represents bromo, chloro, fluoro or iodo;
- each X' independently represents trichloromethyl, NH.sub.2, trifluoromethyl, cyano, methyl, methylthio or methoxy;
- n represents an integer of 0 to 4, inclusive;
- each q independently represents an integer of 0 to 2, inclusive;
- each p independently represents an integer of 0 or 1;
- r represents an integer of 4 or 5;
- each R.sup.1 is hydrogen or methyl;
- Y is a chalcogen of atomic number 8 to 16, inclusive or --SO.sub.2 ;
- Q is methyl, ethyl or halo; and
- Z is a chalcogen of atomic number 8 to 16, inclusive.
- 2. The compound of claim 1 wherein q is at least one and n is zero.
- 3. The compound of claim 1 wherein n is at least one and q is zero.
- 4. The compound of claim 1 wherein n is 1, R.sup.1 is hydrogen and X is substituted in the 6-ring position.
- 5. The compound of claim 1 which is 3,6-dichloro-2-((4-isocyanatophenoxy)methyl)pyridine.
