Claims
- 1. A venturi apparatus comprising:
a housing including a venturi cavity; and a venturi removably attached to said housing and received in said venturi cavity, said venturi creating a vacuum.
- 2. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 1 wherein said venturi includes a venturi ear and said housing includes a venturi opening, a venturi flange, and a venturi gap defined between said venturi flange and said housing, and said venturi ear is received in said venturi opening of said housing when said venturi is in a non-attached position.
- 3. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 2 wherein said venturi is rotated approximately 90° to an attached position wherein said venturi ear is received in said venturi gap.
- 4. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 3 wherein a venturi pin is biased into said venturi opening by a venturi resilient member.
- 5. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 4 wherein said venturi ear presses said venturi pin and compresses said venturi resilient member when said venturi is in said non-attached position, said venturi resilient member biases said venturi pin in said venturi opening when said venturi is rotated approximately 90° to said attached position, and said venturi pin prevents rotation of said venturi to said non-attached position when said venturi is in said attached position.
- 6. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 5 further including a venturi release pin that engages said venturi pin, and said venturi release pin is slidable to move said venturi pin and compress said venturi resilient member to remove said venturi pin from said venturi opening, allowing said venturi to be rotated from said attached position to said non-attached position.
- 7. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 4 further including a second stop in said venturi gap that prevents said venturi from rotating more than 90°.
- 8. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 1 wherein said housing further includes a suction cup cavity, and a suction cup is removably attached to said housing and received in said suction cup cavity.
- 9. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 8 wherein said suction cup includes a suction cup ear and said housing includes a suction cup opening, a suction cup flange, and a suction cup gap defined between said suction cup flange and said housing, and said suction cup ear is received in said suction cup opening of said housing when said suction cup is in a non-attached position.
- 10. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 9 wherein said suction cup is rotated approximately 90° to an attached position wherein said suction cup ear is received in said suction cup gap.
- 11. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 10 wherein a suction cup pin is biased into said suction cup opening by a suction cup resilient member.
- 12. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 11 wherein said suction cup ear presses said suction cup pin and compresses said suction cup resilient member when said suction cup is in said non-attached position, said suction cup resilient member biases said suction cup pin in said suction cup opening when said suction cup is rotated approximately 90° to said attached position, and said suction cup pin prevents rotation of said suction cup to said non-attached position when said suction cup is in said attached position.
- 13. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 12 further including a suction cup release pin that engages said suction cup pin, and said suction cup release pin is slidable to move said suction cup pin and compress said suction cup resilient member to remove said suction cup pin from said suction cup opening, allowing said suction cup to be rotated from said attached position to said non-attached position.
- 14. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 11 further including a suction cup stop in said suction cup gap that prevents said suction cup from rotating more than 90°.
- 15. The venturi apparatus as recited in claim 1 further including an object, said suction cup is positioned on said object, and said venturi withdraws air from a cavity of said suction cup to secure said object to said suction cup.
- 16. The venturi as recited in claim 15 further including an air hole to provide air to said cavity of said suction cup to release said suction cup from said object.
- 17. The venturi as recited in claim 16 further including an exhaust hole and said venturi and said air hole are in fluid communication with said exhaust hole.
- 18. A venturi apparatus comprising:
a housing including a venturi cavity, a venturi opening, a venturi flange and a venturi gap defined between said venturi flange and said housing, and a suction cup cavity including a suction cup opening, a suction cup flange, and a suction cup gap defined between said suction cup flange and said housing; a venturi removably attached to said housing and received in said venturi opening, said venturi including a venturi ear received in said venturi opening of said housing when said venturi is in a non-attached position, and said venturi is rotated to an attached position such that said venturi ear is received in said venturi gap; and a suction cup removably attached to said housing and received in said suction cup opening, said suction cup including a suction cup ear received in said suction cup opening of said housing when said suction cup is in a non-attached position, and said suction cup is rotated to an attached position such that said suction cup ear is received in said suction cup gap.
