- 1. A support which is attachable to hair, a sheet of material or another object, which comprises:a helical tension spring, said spring having a helix with turns which are substantially circularly shaped, at least one of an end turn and a turn in proximity with said end turn having a diameter greater than a diameter of remaining turns of said spring, wherein said spring comprises intermediate turns which have a diameter which decrease in a direction towards a center portion of the spring such that said spring comprises an hour-glass shaped spring; and a graspable member connected to a portion of said spring in proximity with at least one end of said spring.
- 2. A support as claimed in claim 1, wherein said graspable member comprises a decorative member.
- 3. A support as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one end portion comprises opposite end portions of said spring.
- 4. A support attachable to hair, a sheet of material or another object, which comprises:a graspable member; a helical tension spring, said spring having said graspable member connected to a portion of said spring in proximity with at least one end of said spring, wherein turns of the spring located in proximity with the outer face of said graspable member decrease in diameter in a direction away from said graspable member.
- 5. A support as claimed in claim 4, wherein said graspable member comprises a decorative member.
- 6. A support as claimed in claim 4, wherein said at least one end portion comprises opposite end portions of said spring.
- 7. A support as claimed in claim 4, wherein turns of the spring located in proximity with the graspable member decrease in diameter in a direction away from said graspable member.
- 8. A support which is attachable to hair, a sheet of material or another object, which comprises:a graspable member; and a helical tension spring, said spring having a helix with turns which are substantially circularly shaped, said graspable member being secured in place by at least one of an end turn and a turn in proximity with said end turn.
- 9. A support as claimed in claim 8, wherein said graspable member comprises a decorative member.
- 10. A support as claimed in claim 8, wherein said at least one end comprises opposite ends of said spring.
- 11. A support attachable to hair, a sheet of material or another object, which comprises:a graspable member; and a helical tension spring wherein said graspable member is positioned between two adjacent turns of said spring.
- 12. A support as claimed in claim 11, wherein said graspable member comprises a decorative member.
- 13. A support as claimed in claim 11, wherein said at least one end turn comprises opposite ends of said spring.
- 14. A support as claimed in claim 11, wherein at least a portion of turns of the spring lying between opposite ends of the spring comprise turns of a substantially uniform diameter.
