Claims
- 1. A sanitary article comprising:
- an absorbent; and
- a sheet of surface material enveloping said absorbent, said sheet including an opaque, hydrophobic film, said film having an inner surface and an outer surface, said inner surface being disposed in a facing relationship toward said absorbent, and a layer of fibrous aggregates, said layer enveloping said film and having a first surface and a second surface, said first surface being affixed to said outer surface, said sheet further including a top section having recess portions extending toward said absorbent, each said recess portion having a bottom section and a wall section, said wall section linking said top section and said bottom section and having at least one wall portion inclined to said top section, each said inclined wall portion being provided with at least one opening.
- 2. The sanitary article as claimed in claim 1, wherein an angle formed between said top section and said inclined portion is in the range of from 20.degree. to less than the right angle.
- 3. The sanitary article as claimed in claim 1, wherein said sheet of surface material has an extent of deformation at the thickness direction of 40 percent or greater at a pressure of 50 grams per square cm.
- 4. The sanitary article as claimed in claim 3, wherein each said opening has an area of 0.02 to 30 square mm and the number of openings ranges from 1 to 100 per one square cm of said sheet of surface material.
- 5. A sanitary article comprising:
- an absorbent; and
- a sheet of surface material enveloping said absorbent, said sheet including an opaque, hydrophobic film, said film having an inner surface and an outer surface, and a layer of fibrous aggregates, said layer having a first surface and a second surface, said first surface being affixed to said inner surface, said second surface being disposed in a facing relationship toward said absorbent, said sheet further including a top section, said top section having recess portions extending toward said absorbent, each said recess portion having a bottom section and a wall section, said wall section linking said top section and said bottom section and having at least one wall portion inclined to said top section, each said inclined wall portion being provided with at least one opening.
- 6. A sanitary article as claimed in claim 5, wherein said bottom is formed upwardly convex.
- 7. The sanitary article as claimed in claim 5, wherein the integral structure of said sheet of surface material has a Klemm's method of water absorption value of height of the rise of water, as determined in JIS P8141, of 100 mm or lower.
- 8. The sanitary article as claimed in claim 5, wherein said sheet of surface material has an extent of deformation at the thickness direction of 40 percent or greater at a pressure of 50 grams per square cm.
- 9. The sanitary article as claimed in claim 8, wherein each said opening has an area of 0.02 to 30 square mm and the number of openings ranges from 1 to 100 per one square cm of said sheet of surface material.
- 10. The sanitary article as claimed in claim 5, wherein an angle formed between said top section and said inclined portion is in the range of from 20.degree. to less than the right angle.
